~Chapter five~

Ethan's pov
I heard a knock on the door so I got off the couch and answered it I swinger it open seeing Chloe my ex girlfriend.
"What are you doing here?" I said
"Wow not even a hello there ok" she said in a very annoying way
"Are you done yet?"
"Ok I came to talk to you about us"
"There has not been an us ever since you cheated on me with Lucas"
"Listen Ethan I know I did a really bad thing but if I can just talk with you for a couple minutes"
"No chloe"
"Please just 3"
"Fine you've got 3 minutes"
"Thank you"
"Yeah hurry up times ticking"

- we talked for 20 minutes tops -
"Remember that time we saw an old man running down the street in his underwear yelling that he's in the olympics" she said laugh bag causing me to laugh
"Yeah those were fun times"
"I miss you Ethan, I miss us"
"Chloe-" next thing I know she crashed her lips into mine
"Chloe I can't do this" I said pulling away fast
"Well no one has to know" she said crashing into my lips again this time I didn't stop her, it started to create a hot makeout.

Your pov

I really felt upset my parents had never fought, after all what they said to each other I didn't really want to be around them, so I decided to give Ethan a call about if we were still on for pizza and ice cream.
It's ringing.. ringing...
"Uh hey Ethan"
"Hey y/n, what's up?"
"Oh I was just wondering if you were still down for tonight"
"Oh about that I'm so sorry y/n something important got in the way and I'm not going to be able to go"

Ethan's pov
I felt so bad lying to y/n...
"Oh that's ok we can always just hang out another time"
"Y/n I'm sorry I'll make it up to you"
"No no don't worry about just go do whatever your planing on I don't care"
"Y/n-"
She hung up I walked back into the living room
"Who was that?" Chloe asked me
"Um it was just nate"
"Oh ok then"
"Now where were we" she leaned over and kissed me, I kissed her back and carried her to my room.

Back to y/n pov

After finishing that call with Ethan, I cried myself to sleep i was just upset about my parents.

Some time later I was woke up with the ring of my phone it was Grayson calling
"Hello"
"Hey y/n"
"Oh hey Grayson"
"Did I wake you up?"
"No actually I was already up"
"Oh ok then so I was wondering if you wanted to get some ice cream then a walk in the beach"
"Gray I don't know"
"Please y/n"
"Ok where do you wanna meet and what time?"
"How about at 4 at Olivia's frozen yogurt ?"
"Sounds great"
"Alright see you then"
"Ok bye"

— About 2 hours later —

Well gray should be getting here in a couple minutes so I guess I should get ready real quick .

I changed into (outfit below)

And brushed my hair to this

Just spray some perfume and I'm good wonder if I should give gray a call ? Nah he'll call me on his own time just gonna chill and watch Netflix

- Grayson's pov -

I looked at the time realizing I only had very few minutes before I had to go so I got dressed

10 minutes better get going now , I walked out my room only to hear loud moaning
"Holy shit" I whispered to myself almost sorta gagging , I quickly ran down the stairs getting my car keys on the counter and walked to my car driving to Olivia's shop.

Y/n pov

I got in my car and drove to Olivia's

- couple minutes later -

I shut my car door and walked my way into the shop, opening the glass door I saw Grayson sitting at a table near the door
I walked over to gray
"Hey sorry I'm late" I said sitting across from him
"No problem your just on time"
"Nice do you want to order now or?"
"Uh yeah let's go"

- we ordered -
"that'll be 4.25"
"Ok let me just get out some cash" I said reaching into my pocket
"Y/n don't worry about it I'll pay"
"That's kind of you gray but I can pay for it"
"I insist y/n"
"No gray"
"I'll let you pay for your yogurt today but next time I'm paying"
"Ok then" I said smiling at him we paid for our frozen yogurts, we ate our yogurts while walking on the beach. We sat down on the sand watching the water move from one way to another. There was a moment of silence as we stared off into the view in front of us
"You know I've always wanted to surf"
"So what's holding you back?"
"Well for one I don't know how to, two I'm terrified of sharks"
"I think i can help you out with both"
"Oh really?" I said looking at him and raising a brow
"Yeah, there aren't any sharks in that water, two I know how to surf and I know a place close by who rents surfboards"
"Then what are we waiting for, come on" I said standing up and pulling him up by his hand
He laughed a bit then we rented our boards
"Shit you know what I just realized"
"No what?"
"We're not wearing any bathing suits"
"Well gray lucky for us" I grabbed his face and put it against mine and pointed across the street "there's a beach shop"
"Then let's get going"
