1. FIRE

She moves with Terpsichorean grace

And her dance is pure incantation,

As she exudes warmth o'er the place,

You may forget all of creation.

Your bones, your flesh, she'll devour;

She'll consume you till the end.

She knows no mercy in her great power,

She's but the devil's friend.

When at the start, she but a spark,

A flame your heart desired

Became your wine, your world divine

Your sun, your moon, your stars.

Eternal fire that quenched your soul

Be it for right or naught,

A blinding light for men that fall

for beauty, grace and love.

When all the angels spread their wings,

From the heavens did she fell.

And all ye men did dance and sing

And saved her soul from hell.

Beware oh foolish man

for lorn on heaven's gate!

Begone ! take heed or better run

before it gets too late!

Your arm, sinew, her armor

Your heart, her lethal blade;

Oh yes and  all your energies

be drenched and lay to waste.

And how it seems to profit you

When all she takes is life

And may the earth be ashen

For hell's unlawful wife!
