Prologue 1 (mystery's POV)
my life completely SUCKS! I literally have no friends and my boyfriend is a living hell to deal with. Sometimes I just want to shoot myself when Rex throws this huge tantrum about me talking to Alfred. I honestly hate myself for this, but I don't like Rex as much as I used to anymore. I've been focusing on others, and Rex has obviously caught on to this. It's why he doesn't want me talking to Alfred, I wish I could just go and tell him I don't like him. But, there's something in me to just lie to him. Pretend I still like him I know it's wrong but something about it being wrong just, makes it feel so right. I've never honestly liked him. But you probably wouldn't either. He always bugs me and throws stupid tantrums. I'd rather bang my head on the wall then listen to him again!
End of prologue
Mystery's POV
I woke up to the sound of my parents fighting again, I swear they won't shut their mouths for a split second! I didn't mind it at that moment because of how tired I was. I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs. "MY GOD ARTHUR YOU NEVER OAY THE BILLS!" "SHUT IT WOMEN I DO MORE FOR THIS FAMILY THEN YOU EVER WILL!" Just as I thought, they're fighting. Like they always do. "Mom is breakfast ready?" I asked not knowing my mistake "NO BREAKFAST FOR YOU, YOU'RE ALREADY LATE FOR SCHOOL NOW GO!" Dad snarled at me "well geez, you didn't have to yell." I stated. "DO NOT SNAP BACK AT ME!" Arthur growled at me "LEAVE YOU BRAT I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Arthur sinisterly shouted at his son "you don't have to be so rude about it, geez." Starting this conversation with my father was definitely a mistake, but that had crossed the line for my father. He clawed me to the ground even worse, my mom just watched. "THAT SHOULD TEACH YOU A LESSON, now LEAVE I don't want to see your disgusting face until the day I finally leave you and your stupid mother." I hadn't stuttered a word and ran out the door into the cold rain. I grabbed a bandage from my backpack and covered the claw mark with it, then I hid it under my fur." Where were you? I was worried sick!" Alfred asked in concern. "Nothing, let's run before we are late." I said before dashing off into the cold rain.
Alfred's POV
Mystery seemed a bit upset today his eyes looked more dull then ever. I was really worried for him I loved him. But he obviously didn't like me back. He was with Rex. I respected that he liked him and I couldn't stop that. It was history class nobody paid attention to anything the teacher said in any classes. They all looked dead inside. Everything looked so gloomy all the time but that doesn't matter. What matters is that I sit next to mystery in history, the bell rang I walked with mystery to lunch "so I heard Kao was throwing a party." I stated "I was wondering if you could go with me?" I asked Mystery. "Sure." He responded
After school.....
"Okay I need to go to detention, I'll see you tomorrow." Mystery said. "Wait, I'll sit for you I need to show you something after your detention." I told him "okay." He replied.
Thirty minutes laterrrrrrrrr.......
Mystery walked out of the building "okay let's go." I said as we lakes together.
Mystery's POV
Alfred walked me to a waterfall in the forest we sat on a rock close to the river
(I just realized I kept the lines on, ignore it.) it was a dark and gorgeous "so, why'd you bring me here?" I asked "well I wanted to ask you a question." I replied "go on." Mystery responded " I like you." I said straight up forward.
" I like you too." Mystery replied he leaned in and in a split second he kissed me. I kissed back "Mystery?" We both heard a voice that sounded similar we turned to see
Rex's POV
I hadn't believed what I just witnessed I knew mystery never loved me, I knew he would lie to me. I ran off tears in my eyes I ran far enough until I saw a cherry blossom tree. I remembered something special
" H-hey Rex!" Mystery stuttered
Why did you bring me here?" Rex asked
" Well, I kinda..."
"You kinda what?"
"I l-like you!"
"I do too!"
They both leaned in and kissed
"No~ this isn't Fair!" I cried in the night. I sat by the cherry blossom tree and I broke apart.
Mystery's POV
I walked home to hear my parents fighting "WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP FOR A SECOND!" I yelled. "You better shut your mouth mystery unless you really want it!" Arthur snapped
"I don't care!" Just shut your disgusting snout before I break." Arthur pushed me to the ground In full force. Blood tinted my white fur. " we never wanted a child, especially like you! All me and that women ever wanted, WAS YOU DEAD!" " I can't blame you dad, I wish I was dead too." I said before running out of the house. Deep into the forest, to the top of the mountain I stood there and watched as the water from the water fall streamed down the cliff I stood there "Mystery! What are you doing?" Alfred cried from the side he ran to me and hugged me "y-you're bleeding mystery." He cried more "I'm trying to end it Alfred, please just leave." "I Won't let you!" I love you please get down now we can talk about this when you get down! I leaned in to mystery and kissed him "what you are doing isn't gonna help anybody mystery, it's gonna Make things worse! So please just get down from here." Alfred nuzzled my forehead and held my hand we stood on the mountain for a little bit. "You're right."
