Chapter 2

Nagisa's POV

'What is it with this karma guy? I get frustrated every time he talks to me'

"Ne Nagi I'm hungry, let's eat" karma whined like a 3year old clinging to my right arm.

"For all the nicknames why nagi?" I mumbled to myself walking to a pastry shop with karma still clinging on my arm.

"That's because I find Nagi cute and why are we here?" He asks as a faint blush was visible on my cheeks 'he actually heard that?' But the blush quickly disappeared and replace with a tick mark💢 on my forehead when he asked why we were here.

"I thought you said you were hungry?" I asked in a monotone.

"I am but lets eat somewhere else and my treat" he flashes a smile while dragging me over to a japanese restaurant that looked very fancy.

"Karma what're we doing here?" I asked looking at karma with confusion but he just smirked.

"This is where we're going to eat" he replies casually 'are we really eating here?' I thought

"But it looks really fancy" I mumbled 'I don't like him but I don't want to be a burden to him'

"Its fine nagi and I insist plus its my treat." He smirks at me and holds the door for me to enter and I quietly mumbled at thank you.

We took a seat on the second floor near a huge window with red curtains that was held by a thick golden cord.
I took a seat on the opposite of karma, not long a waitress came to us in a japanese kimono with a note pad on her hand and a pen on the other.

"Good afternoon, may I take your order?" She says sweetly at us. I looked down on the table with a menu on it. I scanned the menu looking for the least expensive dish in it.

"Um... I'd like a spicy ramen with sushi" I order as she scribbled it down and looked at karma.

"I'll have the same" he says as she scribbled down that also.

"Ok two spicy ramen with sushi coming right up" she says cheerfully and walks away.

"I didn't know you liked spicy" I say states looking out the window, staring at the setting sun in the horizon while leaning on my palm.

"Same goes for you Nagi" he replies staring at me with a small smile plastered on his face.

'So sunsets are a proof that endings can be beautiful too'

After a few minutes of wait and the sun has already gone down, the waitress came in with our orders and a strawberry with blueberry gelato.

"Um... miss I don't think we ordered a gelato" I said and she smiled at me.

"Oh miss that is a free promo for the sweet couples that visit us this February." She explains and placed the gelato in front of us, I gave her a nod and she walked away.

"I think that the waitress mistook you as a girl nagi" he chuckles as I blushed a little when I remember what the waitress said that we were a couple.

"Yeah I get that a lot, there was a time when a guy tried to hit on me when I was on my last mission his face was so priceless when he found out that I was boy" I giggled at the memory while karma just chuckled a bit at me then shake the thought off at picked up my chopsticks and picked up a piece of sushi and placed it on my mouth tasting the flavors as my face lit up in delight.

After eating my sushi and ramen I snatched the gelato on the table and ate the blueberry. 'I missed eating blueberries, I used to eat this when I was younger'
