Adopted by Clare and Ali

The First Day

I woke up around six am, it was a Monday and the first day of my new school, to be honest I was quite excited school wasn't too bad and we got to wear our own clothes at this new school, I wasn't the first up surprisingly, I walked downstairs and saw Clare and Ali eating cereal watching tv on the couch with the animals, I walk over to them with my bag on my back "Hey Guys I'm gonna set off now"
They both shoot up "Ahh do you need a lift" Clare says
"Ah no im alright" I reply
"Are you sure?"She asks again
"Yeah thanks" I say
Alia waves me out the door and I'm on my way, it was about twenty minutes walk so I had to set off around seven forty if I wanted to be there in time, I spent most the journey listening to music but the last five minutes I had to put my phone away since I was near school once I get school things were quite usual apart from science we had to be in groups of three and I was with two interesting people, one named Aaron and the other Ava, Aaron was very 'artsy' he was actually really chill, he likes drawing, YouTube and stuff he was also Gay which is cool and then Ava was a gamer like me, with Ava we had a lot in common but with Aaron we just had a weird connection, we soon became friends in a strange way, it all started with me taking to Aaron saying "Hey, I'm Ryder"
"Hi, I'm Aaron"
We talked for a while then I started talking to Ava, we spent the entire lesson talking and we got each other's insta and snap I also got Ava's Gamertag for Fortnite. Apart from that the day was pretty boring  apart from that and it went pretty fast.

*Later at home*
I was casually on Fortnite spending my v bucks that I bought with some of my money, I currently had the battle pass and few skins, pickaxes and gliders when I got a knock on my door
"Come in" I said, Clare walked in
"Dinners ready" she says, I get up and we both go down stairs, we all sit and talk a bit when Ali asks "so how was today?"
"Not too bad actually" I reply
"Ah that's nice, did you meet any new friends?" She adds
"Yeah I met two friends, one is called Ava and the other Aaron"
"That's nice" she says i finish up dinner, do my chores then sit on the couch play on Fortnite for a while until I hear my phone buzz, I pick it up and look at the screen and it shows that Ava sent me a Snapchat, I open it and take a look, it read 'duos?' I send back one of this ugly selfies that you take from below saying 'sure'. I turn off the PS4 and run up to my room and hop on fortnite, I get an invite from her then we join a discord chat, even through we met today it felt like we were life long friends, we play for a while, do a few rocket rides troll a few noobs and stuff until Ali walks in my room "Hey what you doing?" He asks whilst sitting on my bed
"Oh I'm just playing duos with Ava"
"Nice, got any wins?"
"Eh a few we mostly been trolling through"
"Ahahaha I'll leave you be then, oh yeah I got you this incase you get thirsty, he places a can of Diet Coke in my desk "thanks" I reply
"Woah" Ava said
"What?" I ask
"Wasn't that Ali A?" She asked
"Yeah why? Him and Clare adopted me"
"You didn't tell me your adopted farther is Ali a"
"Is it something I should of told you?" I ask
"UMM YES"
We both burst out into laughter
"Don't tell anyone"
"Fine"
We play for a while longer then I go to bed,
