This world is so different than the one that I come from, with fresh flowers and greenery all around. The state of my plan is dark and cloudy all of the time. Los Angeles s for the most part, quite beautiful in it's own special way. As far as getting into the house, that is already figured out. There is a thumbprint scanner that Mark had gone on about in one of his recent videos. Said that he would try it out for a while and see how things went. With a small chuckle I press my thumb against the flat surface and the door clicks open, turn the doorknob and head inside.

The house is sparse with only a few piece of large furniture here and there. It's clear that Mark #90 is a minimalist, or can't make a decision about how he wants to decorate his house. I lean more to the latter, considering how silly he is in his videos. Closing the door as softly as I can, I hear small shuffling in the kitchen, and then an odd clicking sound coming towards where I am in the living room.

A fairly large dog, with long golden fur, makes a sniffing sound as she looks at me with a slight tilt of her head. Luckily for me, I already know who this is.

"Hey, Chica girl," I whisper, and she slowly wags her tail at me.

It's obvious that she's wary, and she sniffs the air again. Would Mark #90 and I smell different? We are technically the same person, but it's a factor that I haven't fully considered until this moment. Her large head turns back towards the kitchen area, and then sniffs again. The mouth opens into a bark, and then another bark and then the sound of footsteps.

Mark # 90 is surprised when he sees me, with his mouth opening up almost comically as he stares me up and down. I need to get this over with quickly.

"Before you scream," I start, raising my hand up at him. "I'm not here to hurt you at all. This isn't about you, Mark. It's about someone else, who I love very very much."

He takes a step back, sliding his hand in the back of his jeans , and it's then that I'm sure he's planning on calling the police. In a fluid motion I pull out a small remote and press the only button on it, and there is a surge of electricity that his him full in the chest. He grunts and then falls to the ground, unconscious.

Chica yelps, sniffing and pawing at him, then her large brown eyes look back up at me, confused.

"It's ok," I whisper, moving close to where he's laying and turning him over. "He'll wake up soon. I'm sorry that I had to do this, giving her a pat on the head. "I need to help my Jack."

I check his pulse and then turn him over onto his back. He's breathing and vitals are fine. He's sleeping, but that shock only shuts the body down for an hour at most. I need to get moving, and quickly. I zip up the stairs as fast as I can, and grab a few pairs of pants and a couple of shirts. Anything that that will assist with me looking more like Mark #90 is good, and then with a final glance at Chica, I head back out of the door and lock it.

The taxi driver gives me another grunt of greeting when I get back into the car.

"Please drop me off at the nearest coffee shop."

I shuffle through my stolen clothes and make sure that my plane jumping device is fully charged up. Just a quick stop to change my clothes, and then I head to see Jack # 90 in England.
