"Mothers are supposed to help nourish you. Their whole job is to raise you and make you the person you are today. That job will most likely mean that some days, your mother will be your best friend. Other days, the only thing you will be able to hear will be the screams of your mother telling you-you are worthless, a piece of shit. A slob. Then when you reply, she will just get more pissed of and then you see your child being ripped away from you as you discover that your mother is a monster. A ruthless uncaring monster. That's when it all ends." He could see the pity in her eyes. This is why he never opens up. That look.

"I-I don't know what to say. I am so sorry" her voice was quiet as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"You have no reason to be. It was her fault. I am alive, and I guess that's the most I could have asked of my mother. To just be alive." He sighed, " I am really okay. I am strong and I have learned a lot from her, just not the typical "Always do your best" shit everyone else learns."

She looked up from his shoulder, "You sure?"

He smiled,"I am positive. Now, You give me all I need. Who needs a mom anyway?"

She reached her head up and captured his lips. He wasn't expecting this. His mind spun. But he finally got his senses and kissed her hardback. The kiss was unlike anything they had shared before. There was passion, a hidden truth that is coming to light. An understanding. She knew that the truth was hard for him. He knew that even though they were young and had an entire world against them that he could trust her.

The pace increased. Soon she straddled him. He moaned in ecstasy. She made her way to his neck leaving her mark. She unbuttoned his shirt not wasting a second. She knew that she loved him and that was enough. The fact that he had opened up was huge. She knew that he kept his life locked away deep inside. She moved her hands down to his belt. Carefully undoing it. He broke the kiss, "Wait."

"What's wrong?" She seemed confused. Wasn't this what he wanted?

"I love you. And I want to make sure you are ready." His eyes stared into hers looking for any sign of doubt.

"I have never been more sure of anything in my life. I love you too."
