"Hey!~" I heard a very familiar voice say behind me and I turned around, arms immediately wrapping around me. His smile never failed to make me smile. uwu so cute.

I hugged back and saw Ze Yu, Mingrui and Shuyang behind him. They smiled to me. We were good friends. "How's our Y/N? Still short?" He asked and I hit his arm. "Hey! I'm still growing. Just wait until I beat you in height." I said and pouted. "Yeah yeah sure. Stay tall in your dreams." Xin long chuckled.

After a while of talking, the bell rang and it was time for. Dugudugudugudugu bedung chiii. Boring lessons! Everyone loves boring lessons right?

"Y/N! You know where we always meet. Meet ya at the park. You better not be late." Xin Long says before starting to run. He poked my cheek before running. "Hey! Just wait until I poke your cheeks!" I yelled.

"Yeah sure!!" He yelled back.

6 hours later.

Time to go home. Not my actual home though. My second home. The park. I saw Xin Long making his way to the park and I ran to him, jumping on his back. "Finally caught up to you!" I exclaimed and he looked at me with widened eyes. He then chuckled before holding onto me.

"This is why people started making rumors about us dating. It's because you always get close to me." He says. I shook my head. "So what if they think we're dating?" I asked. "We're not cute together anyways." Everything then went silent. "Y-yeah. Not cute.. together." He says. He didn't look happy anymore.

"Long long.. what's wrong?" I asked and got off of his back to stand in front of him. "You know what? Let's not go to the park today. " he says and he starts walking back. "Hey wait! Did I say something wrong?" I asked, walking after him. "Actually yes." Xin Long then stopped walking and he faced me.

"I was planning to confess at the park but what's the point anyways when you said we wouldn't look cute together." He says and his gaze was scaring me. Confess what..?

"Y/N, I like you." He says and I froze. My best friend likes me. "It all started ever since you first hugged me but we won't be anything but just friends. " he says and he sighed. I couldn't hold my feelings in anymore. I pulled his shirt and hugged him.

"I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't want to hurt you. I like you too but I wasn't sure if you felt the same." I mumbled. He hugged me back. "I asked your parents if I could confess to you and they only agreed if we would study just as hard as we were when we aren't dating. Could you just be my girlfriend even if it's temporary?"

He looked at me and I smiled before nodding. "Of course." I told him and he hugged me tighter, carrying me.

"Mine!!"
