She laid there broken, upset and mistreated. How could she give up her heart just like that. She had waited so long for someone to keep her heart for a long time and maybe even forever, but that had only been a imagination and a dream she had created in her own mind. But maybe that giving someone else another chance was just a mistake.
He sat there broken, upset and regretting what he had said to her missing her scent, her smile and her just in general. Everything that she did brought a smile to his face, that's all he ever wanted to do give her happiness. But he instead he had brought her sadness, failure and regret. He knew what she had been through yet he still did it anyway, he knew what he did. he had broken her.

Rin's POV
"Rin!"
ugh what does she want now. " yes (y/n)"
"umm... I was wondering if you wanted to go to the-"
"no"
"but I didn't get to-"
"I don't care"
(y/n) POV
what he wasn't usually like this but he probably had his own stuff to do "okay I'll see you later then?"
"yeah whatever, I'll be at practise"

well I've been in the library for an hour now and I've finished all my homework for my classes. I should see what Rin is doing now he's probably practicing for the swim competition this weekend.

I walked into the indoor pool our school has,
"sousuke!"
"oh, (y/n) what are you doing here"
"I was looking for Rin"
"Rin said he was with you"
"Rin told me that he was at practice"
"do you want to go and look for him?"
"yeah"
Sousuke was like another older brother to me but he was more close than my real brothers but they still looked after me since I was the baby of the group.
we looked everywhere but still couldn't find Rin, I told sousuke that he could go home since it was getting late, but I still walked him to the gate. But that was where I should have never gone, a secret that I should have never found out.
There was Rin and another girl kissing each other, I couldn't say anything, I couldn't do anything. It was like my whole body was frozen, I couldn't move at all. Then I saw something moving so fast towards Rin, then remembered that Sousuke was still with me. I gasped in surprise.
"you deserved that you jerk!"
I've never seen sousuke that angry before, he was usually a calm type of guy, but before could say anything I had felt something warm running down my face, it was something that I was use to after all. I was crying.
"(y/n)" Rin tried to reach out to me but before he could even get near me sousuke had stopped him from getting any closer.
" Get away from her Rin, she doesn't need your fucking cheating ass!"
before Sousuke could do any more damage i grabbed him and tried to stop him from punching the one I still love even though I he had broken me. "Sousuke... stop please" he didn't even need to look at me to know that I was crying. He didn't do anything physical but he still did something.
"YOU KNEW WHAT SHE HAD BEEN THROUGH, WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HER IN THE PAST BUT YOU STILL DID IT ANYWAY. SHE TOLD YOU WHAT HAPPENED AND YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WOULDN'T DO IT TO HER, BUT LOOK AT YOU NOW DOING WHAT YOU PROMISE YOU WOULDN'T DO!!"

He had sadness in his eyes as he was looking at his best friend but he knew what she had been through, both of them did. Sousuke stayed as her best friend but developed more feelings for her in a paternal way, but Rin had developed a crush for the shy girl.
"come on (y/n) were leaving"
with any objections she had left the redhead and went with the brunette.

The two walked into her apartment and without any hesitation she turned to hug the tall male. Sousuke knew that she need company so he would stay over for awhile and because it was the weekend.

Sousuke POV
"Are you feeling any better?"
"a little" she replied the same way, but i could tell it was different.
I was worried, usually she would be ecstatic that she was eating my food only because I only make it when I have time, which is never.

After awhile of watching tv (y/n) had fallen asleep, I carried her to her room but then somebody knocked on the door. "wait a second!" I had quickly placed her down in her room and quickly walked to the door, but to my unpleasant surprise it was someone i didn't want to see.
"what do you want Rin"
"why are you here?"
"I should be asking you that"
"I'm looking for (y/n)"
"I think you should leave"
Then another voice was added to our conversation.
"Sousuke? what's wrong?"
"nothing (y/n), go back to sleep"
"(Y/N)!"
"Rin?"
no one POV
"no, Rin go away" Sousuke interrupted with a stern voice.
"Sousuke it's fine, go in the room I will talk to Rin, if I need you I won't hesitate, Okay?
"fine, but I swear to god if you hurt her i won't hesitate to-"
"Sousuke."
"sorry"

"Rin..."
" listen (y/n) i'm sorry, I know what I did was wrong but you have to believe me when I say I still love you and I always will"
"But why... was I not good enough, was i not pretty enough for you, what was wrong?"
Rin stayed quiet, he didn't know himself why he did it, he had no explanation.
