Tom and you have been in a relationship for almost six months and it has been great so far. Even though both of you have different career paths, the lack of time spent together never had any bad effects on the relationship. You respected his choices and encouraged him and vice versa.
Tom has been planning to buy a house in Central London for sometime now. He would take you along every time he went to see a house that is on sale. Because he considered you had better choices and wanted your opinion on everything happening in his life. You loved the importance he gives you. He is not the type of guy that always wanted to be the dominant in the relationship, he valued your opinions sincerely.
You had already visited dozens of houses, but nothing seemed to make you feel home.
Both Tom and you finally find the house of your dreams after months of search. It was not as huge as the previous ones you both had seen, but something about this house made it look very cozy and likable.
Tom opens the front door to the house and steps in hand in hand with you. The living room is decorated with pure white marble floors and there is a huge window on one side of the living room through which the sunlight floods in, making the room look so white.
"The entire room is so white. It feels like I am in heaven." Tom smiles looking around at the room.
"And it also has a perfect fire place" you say pointing to the far end of the living room.
"I already love it here" you clap your hands in a child-like excitement.
You then walk in to the kitchen and find it huge and spacious with numerous cupboards and drawers. You imagine how good it would be to cook together with Tom each time you come to spend time with him. He would come stand behind you, taking your hand in his and stir the pudding he loves so much. They would have light music playing and Tom would pull you in to a dance every now and then.
You stand there and continue daydreaming till Tom places a kiss on your cheek.
"Daydreaming already baby?" he asks leaning on the kitchen counter opposite to you, with a huge grin.
You just shake your head, smiling back at him. He takes your hand and pulls you to his side and hugs you. Your head rests on his chest and he places his chin on the top of you head. After a moment you both walk out of the kitchen to explore the rest of the house.
Tom takes you to a room and you see that the walls are actually huge shelves.
"We could have our own personal library. You like it?" He asks you.
"Blimey! Tom this is the best room so far" you gasp eyeing the room.
Tom lowers his face to your level and whispers in your ears "You haven't still seen the best part, Love."
You feel his hot breathes washing down the sides of your neck, sending a chill through your body. You turn to where Tom is and see that he is pointing in the direction of the master bedroom. You blush severely making him smirk. You slap his arms and walk past him to save yourself from more embarrassment.
There are four bedrooms on the ground floor. And the master bedroom is on the first floor. You start climbing the flight of stairs, when you are suddenly scooped up by Tom. He carries you bridal style to the master bedroom.
"Put me down Tom. I'm very much capable of climbing stairs" you laugh.
"No way Love." he smiles looking you in the eye. Tom reaches the door to the master bedroom and puts you down to your feet. He opens the door for you.
"After you Darling" he says in that sexy voice.
You blush lightly at him and step in to the bedroom. Once inside the room, your eyes go wide at how beautiful it is.
The room is very huge with white marbled floors similar to the living room. The room had a really high ceiling which was made to imitate the night sky. You would forget it was day outside if you kept staring at the ceiling for a while, it looks so realistic. At one corner of the room there is a fire place, where you both could cuddle during winter, sipping some hot chocolate. You then open the door to the bathroom, which has a huge jacuzzi in the centre and big round mirrors on the walls. Tom takes your hand in his and leads you to a sliding glass door at the other side of the room. The door leads to a huge balcony overseeing the beautiful garden below. You stand there taking in the beautiful sight.
Both of you finally decide to settle for this house.
After all the formalities and the payment for the house done, Tom takes you to his new home. He picks you up from your work place. You are so excited and so is he, but for different reasons.
You reach the gate and something shiny catches your eyes next to the gate. You see that Tom has got a name board for the house which reads "The Haven". Then you notice something else written below it and you gasp loudly in surprise.
In neat cursive fonts is written on the name board "(y/n) & Tom Hiddleston"
He places a hand on yours and turns your attention to him. He smiles fondly at you and takes out the two keys to the house from his pocket and places one in your hands. You are absolutely baffled.
"What I say now might sound very cliché." And he takes a deep breathe and continues "I have been in love with you the moment I laid my eyes on you. This is just a house now, but with you here it becomes home. I would be an extremely happy man if you will move in with me, Love. Will you?" he asks kissing your hands.
You feel tears misting your vision and nod gently and a smile breaks out. Tom is also in happy tears, still holding your hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.
After a few emotional moments, Tom announces in a voice laced with happiness "Home sweet home"
