Prologue
Abriella's Pov
I finished combing my wet waist length black hair out, and grabbed my blow dryer, setting down my comb. I picked up my brush, and blew my hair dry while brushing it, to keep it straight. I then straightened my hair. I walked into my bedroom, sighing softly. My walls were a light pink, and I had a queen sized bed with white and purple floral designs. My family had a lot of money, and they spoiled me because I was an only child, but they cared more about their money than they did about me. they told me this many times and often told me they wished I was never born, so that they could have more money to themselves. sometimes I just wish I was gone so they wouldn't have to deal with me anymore, since im apparently such a pain in the ass.
im really not the suicidal type of Girl, I used to be, but not anymore. I have a great support system at school, with my friends and everything. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I looked at myself in the mirror, satisfied with my look. I was ready to go to the party. i smiled at myself. I had on a lilac colored leather jacket, with a black tank top, and some black booty shorts, white thigh high socks with cute lilac lines circling the top. then lastly, I had on my lilac converse shoes. My makeup was a black winged eye liner with lilac eyeshadow. Can you tell what my favorite color is yet?
suddenly, I head rushing outside my window, causing me to jump, knocking over my light pink vase, shattering it. I said loudly, "shit!". I heard loud footsteps coming up the stairs, and my father stood in the doorway looking pissed as hell. he screamed "THAT VASE COSTED 1050 DOLLARS YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BITCH!" I held my head low, and said quietly, "im sorry father..." he pushed me against the wall, then slapped me. he let me go roughly, causing me to slide down the wall, hitting my butt on the floor. he slammed my door, and I heard him storm down the stairs. I slowly stood back up, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
I had a large handprint across my tiny face, and my black hair was a little messy. I combed it out, and applied a little foundation, covering the bruise.
