The Romance That Soon Unfolded At Sea

Chapter: How It All Began

Ink's POV

"There is light and day, there is water and land, but yet I feel a bit, displaces and even though I try I can never fit in! Even when I try, and even when I try, I will never fit in..... so let's just start to think! let's just start to think! Even though I know and even though I think I can never-" I sang a song and my friends Dream and Blueberry sang with me. "Never fit in! But yet we three are unique and we know what makes us special! And even though we try! and even though we try! we never fit in." *screech or whatever sound sirens/mermaids make* me, Dream, and Blueberry stopped singing after we heard the warning call for whenever there was a ship going through our sirens' cave and every time there was a ship it was always attacked by sirens/mermaids but us three never really join in the attack cause we were small and we never really got to think about attacking a on going ship without a reason.

Lust told us that a strange creature with two tails saved their life from this thing called a knife which I soon collected and made it my very best and unique item but my mother never really saw the point in keeping such things. The we see Lust hugging something on the boat so Dream and Blueberry (I'm gonna call them blue now) wanted to go see why Lust was out of the water but I stayed on our singing rock as they went to go scope things out and not very soon after they were being held by two strange creatures but I just ignored and then I went to sing a song for one while I waited for them to return.

"Everyday I sing a song, just like the ones before me did, I never saw the point in attacks or even going to take a closer to look, I only attack for reasons but yet I won't show my fear anymore, I am but a humble one and one that's super unique but I never let it bring me down and I know I am special to the core I bet and I know that I'm super different but every time I see a ship I just ignore it till it sinks and then I collect weird items for my collection so I know where it's from and where I should go, but yet I know my life isn't exactly perfect for me being so unique ships come around super often and they just have they're creatures watching me, I never saw the point in being close to a ship, if it attacks then I shall hide and hide where I shall go~ so you know I am special but yet you can't even stop me.... can't stop me~"

Right after my song I heard a few splashes and saw Dream, Blue, and Lust swimming towards me but I just went into the water until I heard the sound of laughter and singing(?) I then swam close to the ship but not to close to be even a half mile from it and then I saw the creatures dance, sing, eat, and drink out of weird shaped things, they looked like they were having fun, until I heard somebody cry out "MAN OVER BOARD!" and they all stop what they were doing so I slowly swam to the one who fell into the water, at first the others they thought I was one going to attack but I didn't and when I was a few feet away from them they turned around slowly like they were expecting me to attack like the normal sirens/mermaids but I didn't and neither did the others.

I just watched him for a while till I grabbed his arms and swam over to a rock that was to my right and where he could get picked up by the ship and it's creatures, but then when I helped him touched the rock I just started to swim back slowly cause they were just terrified of what they saw and while I was a few feet away still swimming backwards I feel a sharp pain in my tail and I see the creature had stabbed me, then when I tried to take it out of my tail it just hurt even more so I looked at them terrified face and I spoke they're language "I helped you to the rock, you hurt my tail, why did I get hurt when I only tried to help you? You thought I was gonna attack? You hurt me, now I hope you can deal with my friends and mother attacking you for what you did..... you should hurry onto the ship if you even value your life but then again not seeing you around anymore means you wouldn't hurt anymore of my friends and family." I said with zero fear now showing but a bit of anger was in the tone of my voice.

"Help! Guys pull me up! I don't want to die!" they said and hurried up the rock and got grabbed by one of the crew members as I swam to my mother and she put me laying down on my stomach so then I could at least get a bit of sleep from the instant pain and I watched my friends drag the creature that stabbed me into the water and my mother grabbed him and pulled him to the depths of the water then the ship suddenly stopped on the beach outside of the cave and I just watched as a few skeletons(?) walked into the cave on the rock path and the rock I was on was connected to the cave side rock path they were on.

Then I decided to find a rock farther away from the path and as I pushed myself into the water I was escorted by my friends to a rock further away and was under a rock hangover so I laid on the rock by my stomach and watched as my friends hissed and screech at them while they tried to get closer but Lust let one into the water and they dragged them to me, to see if they can help me at all and at this point I was laying in a puddle of blood, then they got onto the rock and started to talk to me to see if they could help but when they tried it just hurt me and I winced in pain but then they gave up and had a sad look on they're face, I wanted the knife out but yet it couldn't get out thanks to how far it was into my tail and between a few of my scales.

Then he saw how my tail scales were a rainbow color and then he got a idea, he whispered something to Lust and they then to swim back and they got another skeleton and when they were on the rock they saw the knife and at this point my eyes were closed and my friends wanted to cheer me up so they started singing a song from when we were just fish bait (fish bait is how I call young mermaids/sirens) "Don't be scared of the dark cause we're right here, don't be scared of the light cause it nice, don't be afraid to be alone cause we're right beside you, and even if you're alone we're never far away, cause we are the bests of friend you'll ever see, we are the  so rare it's like us three being unique all together." Blue sang and then was continued by Dream "Cause we are here for you, even though we are far away or if there's blood..... think of the beautiful color? But even though it's strange we can never apart." then both Dream and Blue sang softly "Cause we want to see you smile and play with us and watch the life that goes on, we are hear for you, we are here to support you, we are here to never and never loose you."

Then I felt a swift pain and I pushed myself into the water and behind Lust and I feel my tail to make sure the knife was gone, and it was and then I looked at the two strangers and they had white stuff and lust encouraged me to go back onto the rock and to see if they could put that stuff around my wound but I just ignored then and swam to my mother and hid behind her as she was growling like any protective mother would. but then we hear sirens/mermaids screech out of pain and it was the warning for black tip and white tip sharks, I then started to swim to the rock where the strangers were and helped escort them back to the rock path as the black tip and white tip sharks swam closer and closer.

Realizing I was the only siren/mermaid in the water and the two black tip sharks that swam here were going towards me and every rock that's close to me has it covered with sirens/mermaids and the rock that doesn't have a lot of sirens/mermaids on it was the singing rock but it was behind the black tip sharks and my friends Dream and Blue were trying to get the sharks attention but they ignored what's behind them and what's in front of them so I swam for dear life trying to get the sharks out of the cove but then I feel a few teeth on the end of my tail barely and so I keep swimming knowing my life could be ended by a great white but it's better then dying to black tip or white tip sharks.

I then start to tire a bit and as I drag myself onto the beach a few miles from the ship and the cave, the two black tip sharks stay close but not to close to beach themselves and they were desperate for a meal but I just couldn't take the pain from the knife and from the small bite on the tip of my tail so then everything goes and I pass out from blood lost but little did I know there was somebody who followed me to make sure I was alright.

(I upgrade it every one and a half weeks so if you like the cliff hanger you should give me ideas one what and who I should add to my next story part)
