"Okay so, you're definitely angry" tommy said, that night I decided to make spaghetti for him before he left to go to olivers party.
"20% of his body is covered in scars tommy and my dad sat there with no remorse , who does that?"I rambled on, I needed to get everything off my chest.
"You're not you when you're hungry"he said, a smile on his face. I bit my bottom lip, trying not to smile.
"Not funny"I said, carrying the plates to the table.
"You smiled"he chuckles, pouring us a drink.
"Its hard not to smile at an idiot"I said, sticking my tongue out at him.
"Why don't you just talk to your dad?"he asked me. I shook my head.
"Have you met my dad? He's incapable of holding a conversation without bringing up sarah"i said, my mood changing again. I looked down at my plate sadly.
"And quite frankly I dont want to be reminded that she's gone"I added, he reached over and grabbed my hand. I looked up at him.
"I wish I could help"he said, I nodded and squeezed his hand gently.
"I know , I do too"I said, we both then ate in silence. He never let go of my hand, until he got up to wash our dishes. I stood by his side and smiled. I don't know why but with me tommy was a completely different person. He made me step out of my comfort zone, he challenged me.

I hugged Oliver once he approached me and laurel. They both went upstairs to his room, jumping once someone hugged me from behind.
"Tommy"I smiled, holding a hand to my heart. I turned around to face him, stepping out of his arms. He pulls me back and hugs me, swaying side to side.
"People are staring"I whispered to him. I felt his chest vibrate, meaning he was laughing.
"Let them stare"he said, shrugging. I pulled back to look up at him.
" you look beautiful"he said, I rolled my eyes.
"And you're so damn cheesy"i laughed.
"You love it"he said, slowly intertwining our fingers.
"I'd never admit that"i said, shaking my head. He scoffed.
"You just did"he shook his head in mock disappointment. Once I realized our fingers were intertwined, I pulled mine away.
"For a second I didn't think you'd come"he said , changing the subject.
"Well you still owe me a dance-"i furrowed my eyebrows as I saw laurel flying down the stairs.
"I can definitely make that work-"tommy trailed off as she ran out of the house. I followed after her
"Laurel!"it was too late, she drove off.
"Aww man, that was my ride home"i stomped my feet and pouted.
"I can take you home or we can go to my place"tommy suggested. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I'm not completely stranded.
"I'll think about it"I said, turning around to face him.
"May I have this-"he stops mid sentence, making me look at him I confusion.
"Isn't that your dad's car?"I whipped around to look at the familiar car. Oh god, this is gonna be a long night.
