Victoria's pov

Today I will be moving to new York, everything I've worked so long for, destroyed! All because of Jennifer Dike

I will be attending the best highschool in new York, Frances High

Being a 16 year old girl usually means no worries or responsibilities, but for me it means power

I've worked so hard to fit in in Manhattan, I even changed myself to someone I didn't want to be, here in Manhattan I was Victoria Bars'le, but for new York I'm going to be myself, Victoria James

I was currently moving all my stuff into my Porche, once my house was empty I locked up and drove for about 45 minutes to my mom's house

I walked in and it was quite

"Mom, you home?" I got no response but I could hear sobbing in the kitchen

I walked to the kitchen to see my mom crying on the counter

"Mom, are you ok?" I asked

Still no answer

I pushed back her long chestnut brown hair and stared right into her puffy green eyes

"Your leaving" she said between sobs

I feel bad for leaving my mom and brother all alone but I have to go

"I'm sorry Mom, I brought you my house keys and a present for Victor" I gave her a sweet smile

"Victor is in his room" she wiped her tears away and took the keys from me

I walked up the 15 stairs, yes I used to count them every day when I was little hoping they will become more

I stood sadly at the top of the stairs staring at the dark gloomy hallway

As I approached my brother's room I hear him screaming "Die loser, DIE!"

wiers little boy.

I walked into the room and as I expected he was playing fortnite

"Knock knock dork" I greeted

He turned his huge head to look me up and down

"Hey vic-dice I thought you were going to new York today?" He asked

"I am actually, I just stopped by to say goodbye and I brought you this" I handed him the 300 dollar teddy bear I got him

"Aw this is sweet but I'm 14 not 4" he playfully pouted

"Suck it up you big baby" I laughed and ruffled his hair "well I'm heading out now, see you in a few year baby bro"

"See you soon big V" we hugged and I went downstairs to say goodbye to my mom

"Mom, I'm leaving now, long drive ahead" I awkwardly laugh

"Ok honey, drive safely and stay out of trouble, also make sure you keep in contact and visit every once in a while" my mom said

We also hugged and said our goodbyes

I got in my car and started my drive to The Big Apple

In the car I couldn't help but think about my new life in New York

I was once popular, had alot of friends  and power, but that was all back in Manhattan.
