*Tay's POV*

I heard the familiar ring tone of my old phone ringing from across the room. Picking it up and looking at the number my heart literally stopped.

Well, I thought it did.

My dad? Last time he talked to me was years ago.. Ever since I was born all he ever did was drink. He'd go to the bar every night and he never actually helped my mom take care of me. Which as I got older it lead to some small abuse but now we never keep in contact.

"Umm..Dad?" I practically whispered into the phone, I really didn't know how to act.

"Yeah, it's me, baby girl." He said calmly, like nothing ever happened over my whole life.

"Don't ever call me that." I hissed into the phone, waiting for a response which I never got.

"What do you want?" After I said that it was like he finally came back to his senses.

"Well I was wondering if we could meet up somewhere.. And you know, catch up?" I ran my fingers through my wavy hair.

"I'll think about it I guess.. Uh I'll just call you back whenever." With that I hung up on him. I really didn't want to see him but It'd be for the best, right?

"Dammit." I stood up, grabbing a few sheets of paper from my coffee table and started singing the lyrics.

That's what I did when I was bad. I decided to sing and write music instead of hurting myself. Which now I think back at those days and I just think of myself as stupid.
