Skylar's Pov

It was now time for this year's S-Class trail to start.

"Ah, I'm so excited!" I exclaimed.

"Just don't get too excited," Leona said.

"I know. You don't have to remind me," I muttered.

I sighed deeply as I stared out into the sea, letting the wind blow my hair behind me. Erza, Mirajane, and Gildarts had already taken off to Tentrou Island, except for me. I decided to stay on the ship with Master Makarov and wait for everyone to arrive.

I didn't want to wait hours on the island for the others to arrive. Sure, I have Leona and the three S-Class Wizards to talk with while waiting, but I wanted to be around Natsu. I don't know, but something about him... was familiar. I don't know why that is, but I want to find out.

'I need to know...'

"Skylar."

"Yes?" I asked.

When I turned around, I saw Master Makarov standing behind me, so I smiled at him while Leona sat on the railing beside me.

"There's something that I want you to do once we arrive at Tenrou Island," He said.

"Something for me... to do...?" I asked, confused.

I was walking all around the large ship to make the time pass by quicker but soon stopped walking to lay on the wooden floor. I wasn't prepared for it to be so hot today. As I was lying on the floor, I was starting to regret my decision.

"Leonnaaaa~!" I called out. "I need you~!"

Turning my head to the side, I stared at Leona, who was sitting on one of the chairs, holding a glass cup in her hands -well, they're actually paws- as she drank the cool refreshing drink from a straw.

Luckily, Leona was an Ice Dragon. This means when there are hot days like this, I can just hold her in my arms and let her cool me down because her body is always cold. I know I can use my Ice Dragon Slayer Magic, but I preferred having Leona be the one to cool me down.

"I'm dying over here!" I exclaimed.

"When you do, I'll make sure to have you buried with Aya and Xander."

"Really? Thanks, Leona," I said before sighing. "But my death is never going to happen, not for a long time. I'm still young and plan on having a great life!"

I closed my eyes and laughed. My arms and legs were stretched out on the floor as small red strands of my hair flew in the air while I continued laughing. After a minute or two, I opened my eyes as my laughter finally died down.

Smiling and humming softly, I raised my arm and held my hand out. As I moved my hand around in the air, I saw birds fly across my vision. Sighing, I dropped my arm and groaned when my hand hit the wood hard.

"Alright!" A voice shouted.

I immediately sat up and smiled before getting up from the floor. I slipped a few times as I ran over to the railing. They had finally arrived.

The different teams were already gathered in front of the ship. Natsu and Happy, Gray and Loke, Levy and Gajeel, Juvia and Lisanna, Mest and Wendy, Cana and Lucy, Freed and Bickslow, and Elfman and Evergreen.
