Naruto's POV
I looked proudly on at Sakura as she mastered everything Amber taught her with hard work and dedication.
There were a few things she stumbled on but she worked on it with no rest until she finally got it. She mastered basic medical ninjutsu in a week with no rest.
Amber decided to let her rest and she'd continue her other training when we return.
Tazunas grandson gave us a bit of a hard time but we had a talk and eventually he eased up on us. Now we can't go anywhere with him clinging on to sasuke and I. In the end tazuna found out a bit of my past and apologized for his behavior. He fainted when kurama told him that's the sugar coated version.
(I'm going to skip the battle it'll go pretty much the same only Sakura is in place of Naruto in terms of protecting them. Mr. MooMoo yes that's what I have decided to call him kills the enemy and other than that no one dies and tazuna still decides to name the bridge the great Naruto bridge after finding out how Naruto endured his hardships and pulled through so he named it that as a symbol of hope)
We're on our way back to the village after bidding The villagers farewell and zabuza and haku decided to join us to see if it was possible to join the village.
Short version is they were able to join but are being kept under watch for a year so they would be staying with us since we have more than enough room.
Zabuza and haku quickly learned the etiquette of our home (not like Amber would let them escape without it basically they were drilled with manners 💀)
Overall we were pretty happy except for one thing..... Sakura.
She had been acting rather strangely since we returned and I was determined to get an answer.
"SAKURA" she looked peaceful sleeping under the tree until I yelled her name out. "don't even think of trying to escape I will tackle you girl or not" I said as she looked like she was trying to find a way to escape.
She sighed and pulled her knees towards herself. Her eyes looked so tired and my resolve fell.
I sat beside her wrapping my arms around her
"what's wrong, blossom? You've been acting strange ever since we returned" I said softly as she looked like she was about to cry
"my parents said they'd disown me if I kept being friendly with you and didn't take sasuke" she said softly.
"then you can pretend to not be friends with me in the village and sasuke can pretend to be your boyfriend" I said gently smiling even though deep inside I didn't like that idea at all
Sakura snapped up angry
"of course I wouldn't do that. That's like taking away your happiness for my own selfish greed. Naruto you don't deserve any of the bad things that have happened to you. You always smile through the pain. I won't let you be miserable again" she huffed breathing heavily.
Her face was red with anger and her emerald eyes burned with fury. I felt touched that she cared so much I didn't even realize I was crying until she hugged me tightly. "it's OK naru besides its too late anyway I let them disown me" she laughed
