Chapter 5: Necklace

Chaeyoung's POV

Damn it where did I put my necklace?
"Unnie have you seen my necklace?"
I asked Jisoo unnie while looking for my necklace in the couch.

"No, I haven't."

"Chaeng are you ready?" Jennie unnie shouted out from her room. " Just a sec..... I found it!" I said while raising it above. " Then what are you waiting for? lets go."

I swear if I had lost my necklace, this will be the end of my world. This necklace is the most precious thing I have gotten, it was given to me by my childhood best friend when we were young.

We got out from our dorm and made our way to unnie's car.

While Jennie unnie was driving I remembered the day that he gave me the necklace.

*Flash back*

" Pasta wait for me!" I turned back to look at him, he was still running towards me.

"That's what you get for not eating healthy foods."  I let my tongue out while laughing at him.

"Laugh all you want wait until I catch you!" he then started running towards me, while I started screaming and running away from him.

" Gotcha! see,I told ya wait until I catch you" he laugh out into my ear . "Okay, okay you got me, now would you please let go of me?" he then took a step back and followed by another one and  followed by another, he was smiling at me like I was the most precious thing in the world.

I was standing in front of him, it seems like he is hiding something from his back.

"Yah Chim , what's behind your ba~."

"Can you close your eyes for me?" he asked so quickly that I didn't finish my sentence, I looked at him in the eyes, he was so serious, then I decided to follow him, I nodded my head and slowly closed my eyes.

" Okay now ... open" as I opened my eyes I saw a small white box in his hands, it looked like a christmas gift.
He took my  hand and opened my palm and place the box  on top of my hand.

" Open it" he said while eyeing the box.
When I took the top out , I quickly looked inside ,but.....

" it's empty" I said with a sad and annoying tone. " Are you pranking me?"
he slowly shook his head while looking at me.

"Can't you see, those are my feelings for you..." he then took a step towards me.

at that moment I was really shocked  that he confessed his feelings for me.

"But that's not all..." I shot up my head , really curious of what he is talking about. " Pull the string on the left side"
I obeyed  him, once I pulled out the string, I smiled out and hugged him. It was a beautiful silver necklace and has a two pendant on it.

" Mom said that I will buy you a gift that will make you happy and also to remember me" he smiled at me.

" and oh , I also have one just like you , see here I have a gold one and my pendant are just like yours but  mines are a little bit bigger than tours because I'm a boy"

" it's beautiful, thank you" I said  while hugging him again. " I'm gonna miss you Chim, so much." I said unto his neck.

He hugged me back. " Me too, Chaeng. Promise me you won't loose this okay?"

" I promise..."

I sighed, I sure miss that idiot. I wonder where is he now?

does he still remember me?
