Y/N POV
After 4 hours of dancing with Finn, he was actually a quick learner. His freckles looked like little stars kissed the bridge of his nose to his cheeks. I don't have 'feelings' for the guy just yet but he's a great person to talk with. I did my morning routine and picked out a black shirt, high waisted mom jeans, and some flats and a pair of high heels in my bag.
I left my bike in the studio so I put a reminder on my phone to get it after dancing. I called a taxi because Ubers are not cool and unprofessional. It will be here in 4 minutes. I remember Finn putting his number in my purse. I found it and called him up.
F= Finn (Obvi)
Y=You
F- Hello?
Y- Hey it's me. Y/N.... your-
F- Dance partner I remember.
Y- Are you coming today?
F- In the afternoon.
Y- Should I ask why or is it obvious?
F- No. Nothing obvious. I just have a big agenda and dance will be the last thing on it.
Y- Oh.
F- Save me a dance?
Y- Yeah sure...
F- Ok GoTtA BlAsT!
Y- Square.
*end call*
I sighed in disappointment. Then I will have to be dancing with Brian or worse... Not dance at all! I walked in the dance studio only to see Margret cleaning the floors.
"Always an early bird... You should be sleeping at home right now Y/N. This habit of yours isn't healthy and I need healthy dancers." Margret scold me.
I sighed. "Well I would say the same thing to you but look where we are. Healthy and Alive!" I twirled around and clicked my phone into the aux cord for the boom box and played "Buddy Holly" by Wheezer.
I grabbed a spare broom and danced with it. Margret was dancing too. We were laughing and singing. After a few rounds of twirling and other bad ass dance moves, The door bell rang and we looked at the crystal clear front door and saw... Brian and his parents. I jogged to the door and opened it with my believable fake smile.
"Stop smiling. You look like you seen ghosts and try to pretend everything is ok." Brian whispered in my ear.
"Stop crying to your parents. It gives you a bad reputation... Leslie." I whispered back. Leslie is his middle name that he told me secretly. Only me and Margret know that and we kept it a secret or an inside joke to one another.
"I demand to see Margret Fletcher... Now!" Brian's dad said. I rolled my eyes and motioned my hands so they can follow me and so they did. We went up to her office which she ran quickly to.
"Hello Mrs. and Mr. Garcia. Is there a problem?" Margret said confidently.
"Yes there is a problem..." Ms. Garcia explained. She was talking up a storm about how his son is not able to enter the competition because his dance partner won't let him lead and so on. I went downstairs and unplugged my phone from the aux cord. I played some Sims Free play while waiting for Brian's parents to get out. Brian went downstairs and walked up to me. I sighed as I looked to him.
"Problem?" I said with my eyebrows were questioning.
"You know... I actually like you.. well used to now. Have you thought of us being together?" Brian asked.
"Nope. Not even a little. Sorry dude I don't date people who will never be on the same page as me." I shrugged and smirked back to my phone.
Brian had his hand out in front of me, waiting for me to grab it. I sighed as I set my phone down and grabbed his hand.
"I know how to salsa. I just liked bothering you." He leaded me to the middle of the dance floor and Salsa played out of no where. I looked up and saw Brian's parents silently cheering him on and Margret regretting this and so do I.
I had a sad face through the whole way through but danced like it was my last day on earth. For the last move, he dipped me and went in for a kiss. I put my hands on his lips and ran away from the studio. I sat on the entrance door step as people started to enter and stressed out.
A few minutes later, Brian came out of the studio and sat right next to me. I looked away and tapped my foot impatiently.
"I'm very sorry Y/N" Brian broke the silence. "I just thought you hidden your feelings for me and this was the only way I get you out of that feeling." He confessed. I was fed up with his nonsense so I needed to say something.
"Leslie" I started off saying. "We are dance partners. Not friends or anything beyond friends. Next time you see me or even talk to me, Don't think about me with you, Don't even talk to me about anything but dancing! understand?" I explained.
He stayed quiet. I walked back in the studio with Brian's parents just glaring me down. I rolled my eyes and walked past them. I ran up to Margret's office and closed the door and cried. Margret ran to me and gave me a hug.
"I'm so sorry that happened hun." Margret was apologizing like this was her fault.
Finn was walking in right now. He didn't see me and I touched up my makeup and cleaned my tears. I walked down the stairs and waved at Finn. He walked up to me with a huge adorable smile. I started to blush and I look down.
"I like that blush. What product you're using?" He asked cluelessly that its my natural blush. I laughed.
"No product.... It's a natural blush" I looked straight into his eyes, getting lost in them.
"Someone has a crush on me!" He teased me. I punched his shoulder playfully. We went to our spot on the dance floor.
"I had the worst day today... Brian... That kid who pushed you the other day when we met? Yeah he almost kissed me and his parents were practically trying to get us together! But I'm guessing you are having an even worse day than me." I said as we dance salsa.
Finn spinned me and dipped me. "I think you topped off the worse days in history." He said as we stayed at the dipping position.
I had the urge of kissing him but I just smiled and nodded. "Hey what if we go to my place? Netflix but no chill." I laughed and did he.
"Uh sure I guess it will be fun to actually watch Netflix.... Not that I had did 'Netflix and Chill' it's just um.... nevermind" We continued to dance.
After 30 minutes of dancing, I grabbed my bike and leaded Finn to my apartment right across the street.
"Wow! How convenient it is!" Finn said to the fact I live close to the studio.
"Well I just moved in and I just unpacked the essentials and décor." I warned him with a smile.
We walked up the stairs. I went up first and he followed. I have a weird feeling that he was staring at my ass so I took out my mirror secretly and looked behind me. He was looking at my ass! Smiling too! I turned around and looked at him.
"Liked what you see back here?" I questioned him with my mirror in my hand.
"Nope.... Ok is it weird if I say yeah?" He said as he fidget with his fingers.
"Hmmm. I don't know is it weird to like my ass?"
"Not if I'm your.... boyfriend.... But I'm not!" He said sheepishly.
I continued walking and stayed quiet. He said all the wrong things! I guess he was nervous or something... But why me????
