"MOM!" i yelled out huffing in frustration. "Where did my baby pink Michael Khor's back go?". I was so annoyed, my plane leaves in 4 hours and i still hadn't finished packing my suitcases. I got my shoes put away but my toiletries were strewn all over the bed but i still needed to get the rest of my clothes and purses packed away and last but not least all my pictures i had of dad. I missed him so much, picking up a photo I look at us all happy, it was from my 16th birthday and he had given me a heart necklace with our names engraved in it. I put a hand to my neck and touched where it lay on my chest to this day, It shouldn't have been you dad I whisper to the photo.

" Honey!" A voice interrupts my thoughts," i told you 20 minutes ago when you asked me the same exact question. Its hanging in my room!" Mom yelled up from the kitchen. I rush into her room and snatch it off the hook before i forgot again. Walking  by her dresser and spotted my favorite chanel perfume my dad got me for christmas right before he passed. What the hell? i thought. The way she borrows my stuff and never tells me gets on my nerves but i let it go since i was leaving today. I enter my room and sink onto my bed, looking at the phone I held in my hand i look at the last message my sister sent me and a smile crossed my face, I couldn't wait to see my sister, its been awhile since I seen her last and 5 years since she married and moved to Wyoming. Hope this summer goes well.

"Ladies and gentlemen the plane will now be descending, please make sure your seatbelts are fastened and you do not get up from your seat." A voice spoke over the intercom. This was it. I was here, 1000 miles from home and so close to seeing my sister. I closed my eyes and pictured when i last saw her, she was 5 months pregnant with her second baby and Elias my nephew was 2. But that was a year and a half ago when my dad flew me out there to see her with him and my mom had stayed behind. I didnt remember much because it was for a week and i never left the house. My brother in law was cool, i respected him a lot. Growing up with 4 brothers and a sister, he built his own farm and started his business from the ground up. He was 27, 3 years older than my sister, but none of us minded, they were the sweetest couple ive ever met in my life. And i was so close to seeing them again.

I shuffled along behind the other passengers on the plane. The airport was fine and the ride was smooth but my nerves were racing all over the place, i couldn't wait to see my sister. My phone buzzed signaling a message, looking down i see the text from Rayleigh asking where i was. I sent her a quick message telling here ill be at the entrance soon and almost tripped over my feet when random people bumped into me getting off the plane. whoops, i better get going now i thought.

My eyes scanned the cars till i spotted a familiar dark blue Ford, Jackson my brother in law parks the car and Rayleigh's familiar brown head runs out  her arms extend towards me, i let go of my suitcase and hug my arms around her. " I cant beleive your here!" she squeals out in delight. " Me too." i answered, squeezing her back hard. Dropping the hug i greet Jackson, " Are we ready to go?" He asks me. I nod and take my smallest suitces and he grabs the largest one. " Oh gimme that!" says my sister snatching my bags from me. You just got off a long flight the least i can do is take that for you. i smiled and got in the truck, sinking into the soft padding of the seat i closed my eyes and let sleep overtake me.

A new smell hit my nose and i blinked a few times adjusting to the bright sunlight streaming in through the curtains. It was Friday and I was in Wyoming, I wasn't back in Sacramento anymore, giving my eyes a rub and sat up and looked around the room i stayed in when i came to visit last time i was here. I heard noises coming from downstairs and a lot of yelling. A grin slid onto my face and i got excited to see my cousins. I was about to change when I looked down at my attire, my sister must've changed me bacause I was wearing my sisters clothes. The top was a little too tight over my chest, but I was the tall one in my family,  4 inches taller and bigger in the chest area but the bottoms fit perfectly since we had the same jean size. I shrugged it off and jogged downstairs to see my nephews. Hitting the bottom of the stairs I jumped when Elias appeared out of nowhere  and hugged my legs. " I missed you melly!" He spoked through my legs. " haha, I missed you too little guy!" Grinning I bent down to his level. "How old are you now?" I asked him. "I'm four." He said while holding up 5 fingers, I put down one of them, "there that's four, your so big now you little booger!" I told him. He just laughed and tugged on my hand guiding me to the kitchen. "I want you to meet cooper!" He excitedly said to me. I made a face, I so did not want to meet anyone right now, I followed him either way.

We enter the kitchen and I got jumped by this big furry creature. " AAAGHH." I scream. My face was getting wet with saliva, " what is this thing!?" I screeched at Elias. He just started laughing, and I heard footsteps walking in. Elias got quiet looked at me with an oops expression and ran off really quick, Looking up I saw my sister standing there hands on her hips with a grin." Well what do you know, you met our new dog cooper, we just got him a year back." she says to me. I get up and glance at the German Shepard. " He sure is a big one huh." I tell her nervously, she lets out a laugh, " He got a little excited since Elias let him into the house, we keep him outside." She told me. I nodded. "Well i'll go get changed then."

I gave myself a once over in front of the bathroom mirror and looked at my spaghetti strap blue cropped top, and my white capris I decided to pair it with a pair of adidas, walking outside I breathed in a country air of Wyoming, oh how I missed this, I favored this part of Wyoming over the city of Sacramento, but ill miss the city life because of how busy it is and the amount of things to do, but here? There was nothing. I mean really, what could possibly get more interesting than living in dust with the small town miles away and nothing but trees and a river to keep me company.

"Mels!"someone yells. I look in the direction it came from and see Jackson by the barn holding a horse by the reins. I walk up to him and look at the dark beauty, "what's up?" I asked. Gesturing to the horse with his head he says, " We just broke in this girl last week, wondering if you were up to a ride?" He patted her neck. Looking up at the beast in front of me I gulp. No way was I getting on this beast? I didn't really have a death wish. Seeing my nervous gaze he gave a chuckle, "Your gonna be fine, ill have one of my boys teach ya if you like?" I nodded my head, "Right." I snort sarcastically. "ima just go find Elias and meet the little Raymond you've all been sending us pictures of, See ya!" I give him a wave and walk off, time to find my second favorite humans on earth.
