**August 5**

~KIA’s POV~

I was glad that Trevor didn’t ruin our camping this year. We all had a great time, we went to the lake, went fishing, and do some other camping stuff. We got home last night and I was really tired so I fell asleep on my bed. The next morning, I woke up when someone texted me. The text was from James.

James: GOOD MORNING!! (The letters were all capitals)

Kia: MORNING! J

James: You busy today?

Kia: I only have to pack for Toronto. After that, I’m doing nothing. And aren’t you in Vancouver today?

James: Yeah, but auntie just called so were going there this Thursday.

Kia: AWESOME!!

James: You wanna hangout after you pack?

Kia: Sure! Where?

James: My place. ;)

We texted for about 10 minutes until we say see ya to each other. I went downstairs to see Trevor watching a movie called ‘The Grudge’. I decided to scare him, so I walked to him really quiet, and snuck behind me. “BOO!!” I yelled. He jumped up 3 inch and screamed. I laughed really hard tears coming out of my eye but he just keeps his face straight. “Why would you do that?” he asked, really serious. I tried to stop laughing, but I can’t, I try to calm myself down to answer his question and said, “I thought it would be funny.” And I started laughing again. “It’s not funny,” he said, giving out a little bit of a laugh. I nodded and stop laughing. As soon as I stop, I stand up and walked straight to the kitchen.

“Want some pancakes?” I asked.

“I already ate. There’s a bagel in that box,” he said, pointing at the bakery shop box.

I ate it as fast I as I could so I could pack my stuff for tomorrow and I could hang out with James. This week is very busy for me, so I guess it’ll be the best summer of my life.

“Did you pack already?” I asked Trevor, as I took the last bite of my bagel.

“For what?” he said, confused. I gave him an are-you-serious look and said.

“For tomorrow,” I said. He was thinking about tomorrow, and jumped quickly out of the couch.

“Thanks for remembering me,” he said, walking up the stairs to his room as fast as he could. Yeah is all I could say. I went to my bedroom, put some music on and started packing. I put my clothes on the big suitcase, shoes on the small suitcase, and my chargers, headphones, my iPod, my laptop, and my camera on a carry bag. When I finished packing it was 11:05. I went downstairs and saw my mom making lunch.

“Got your stuff ready?” she asked. I nodded.

“Need help making lunch?” I asked her. “Yes please,” she replied. I helped her made a brownie for dessert and my favorite main dish, Cheesy Baked Ziti with Sausage. That’s have been always my favorite since I was a kid, my mom makes the best main dish, but this is my favorite. When we finished cooking, I called Trevor, and dad got home just in time.

“Mhhm smells delicious,” he said, sniffing the air, and sat down on the table. “It tastes good, too,” dad complimented. Trevor nodded; he can’t say a word because his mouth is full of ziti. We all laughed and continue eating, while we talked about taking care of ourselves in Toronto. And of course we promise that we won’t do any stupid stuff while were in there, and told them that were going to have fun. Mom took out the brownies that we made after we were finished eating our dish, literally finished, there was nothing left. We ate the brownie and everyone ate all of it, by everyone I meant Trevor. After lunch, mom and dad left to go back to their work.
