he once met a girl who was broken inside

she felt happy and in love
but then she got scared
every time she was happy something brought her down even worse
she didn't want to be hurt again for that was her biggest fear
as long as she had him she felt fine
that all changed when the boy changed his mind
he promised this wouldn't happen

they spoke of marriage and babies
even though they were young they had it all planned out
but he broke it
he broke her
once again she was torn and heart broken
she went back to cutting and having suicidal thoughts
all because the boy was just like everyone else
a girl she knew talked her out of dying so soon
then she went and killed herself
now the girl is all alone
no one to love no one to hold
but she's ok
it made her stronger
she may not trust again
she may not love any time soon
but she's alive and she's ok
