It was hard being the only Moonwalker in school/other extracurricular activities. Even if I would try to tell my friends about him, they would always make fun of him and say that other modern artists were better. And my friends were the type to like Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Kanye West, etc. Now don't get me wrong, I have respect for all of these artists, but my friends didn't realize that without Michael, none of these artists would have the successful careers they have today.
But one night, I was at a banquet for my show choir and I started ranting to a couple of the girls how upset I was that nobody understood my love for Michael and how I wished I had a friend to fan girl over him with. They both said at the same time, "We'll fangirl with you!" None of us knew each other's love because we had all assumed that everyone around us didn't like him. One loves the Bad era, the other loves the Dangerous era, and I love the HIStory era. We also call each other "Pretty Baby".
Moral of the story: don't be afraid to admit your love for Michael and be judged. You may end up finding some friends who love him just as much, and your bond with Michael will only grow stronger.

This is such a great message and one I can completely relate to. I'm so glad you found some good friends that share your love for Michael!
