chapter 2

It's home time now and I really really really hope my wish has come true. I don't know how long it takes for wishes to come true but I hope they happen fast!

I walk out of the school with my coat buttoned up and my bag on my back. seeing my mummy waving at me, yelling MADDY! HEY MADS, OVER HERE, ITS YOUR MOMMA, COME HERE BABYGIRL! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" my cheeks flushed as I ran into her arms. I hugged her tightly and as we got into the warm car, I asked her. "mummy," I began, "have you and daddy stopped arguing yet?"

She glanced and me quickly with a hint of worry in her eyes. why is she worried? I thought to myself as she said to me, "what's wrong Bunny?"

so I said back to her, "when I go to bed at night, I can hear you and daddy arguing about something, I think about a sleeping with slugs, and I get scared. so I run into my bedroom," I breathed, "get into my bed and snuggle under my covers with my teddies, and Lucy doll, and a torch and a book. then I read as best as I can to my dollies and teddies to not hear you arguing"

she smiled at me sadly and put her arm around me, "well, me and daddy have been thinking..."
