Lizzy POV

I sat in a chair in the waiting room with a frappe in my hand. Everybody was silent. Chelsey, on the other hand, was upset. The ambulance came and took Jazzy to the hospital. I looked at Simone. This was supposed to be a good day for Simone getting close with her new family. Chelsey was pacing the room while dad tried to calm her down. "Where's the doctor?" She said, shedding a tear. "The doctor will be here." Dad said. She huffed. "It's like taking forever." She said. Then again, how could Jazzy have a seizure? Is she mentally ok? Selena laid her head on my shoulder. I should ask them of how she could have a seizure. Maybe the doc knows. Finally, the doctor showed up. We got up from where we were sitting. "How is she?" Chelsey asked. "She's ok. You're lucky you rushed her in on time. But she should keep taking her medicine after eating." He said. They nodded in understanding. Keep taking medicine? The fuck? What is going on? "Um, what do you mean she has to keep taking medicine? What's going on?" I asked. They looked at each other then back to me. "Lizzy, Jazzy's been diagnosed with a disorder. Seizure disorder." Dad said. My jaw dropped. Diagnosed? How is that possible? "How?!" Lexi said. I calmed her down. I looked at Simone. She was taking deep breaths. Seeing her sister seize in front of her is scary. "It started when she grabbed a piece of cake. She went upstairs with her plate. I had to do something so I went upstairs and that's when I saw her seizing on her bed in the room." He explained. Doctor nodded in agreement. "Apparently, it was one of the cakes that could cause seizures." He said. Chelsey wiped her eyes. "She's ok now? Can we see her?" She asked. He nodded. "Yes but...two people." He said. I looked at Simone. She nodded and we walked to her hospital room. She slowly opened her eyes. She instantly smiled when she saw us. "Lizzy! Simone!" She said. I smiled sadly. "Hey cutie." I said. She waved at me. "How are you?" I asked. "Good. But I wanna go home." She whined. I chuckled and rubbed her hair. "Oh you will ok? Just lay down and rest right now." I said. She nodded. "Will Simone be home?" She asked. I looked at Simone. She smiled sadly. "Of course I will be. I won't ever leave you." She said. Jazzy smiled. "Yay!" She said. We chuckled. Simone cleared her throat. "Lizzy, can I talk to you alone?" She said. I nodded. "Be right back!" I told Jazzy. She nodded as we left the room. Dad and everyone else came to see how she's doing. Outside, Simone shed a tear. "What's wrong? What is it?" I asked. She huffed. "The first time I ever see my little sister have a seizure in front of me." She said. "Simone, I fully understand how scary it is. It was scary for all of us. But least she's ok. Besides we didn't even know she has a seizure disorder." I told her. She looked at me. "What happened if we didn't helped her sooner? She could've died in front of me!" She cried. I hugged her. She hugged back and sobbed on my shoulder. "She wasn't gonna die. You know why? Because you saved her. You called us and we got help. You saved her life." I said. She nodded. "How did you know how to- I cut her off. "Because Justin had one cause of a bad dream. Me and Selena helped calm him down and gave him some water." I said. She smiled a bit. "That's great. What about me? What should I do if she has one in front of me?" She asked. I rubbed her back. "Just hang onto her. Make sure there's a pillow on her head cause she shouldn't hit her head. Turn her over her side so her saliva won't come out." I told her. She nodded. "Will she be ok?" She said. I smiled. "Of course. She's in good hands." I said. We hugged. Jazzy didn't die that night and why? My brave sister saved her life.
