I ran down the stairs as I heard the bell ring. I knew who it was already, it was my bestfriend Kayla. I could tell by the amount of times she rang the bell. She's here to help me pack for my trip to Paris, she loves organizing stuff so uh - obviously I took advantage of that.
"Hey!" She yelled as she came inside, completely pushing me out of the way and walking like she owned the place.
Well, she kind of did since she knew every corner and curve of my house. She loves coming over and finds every excuse to even if it means doing my packing for me. My mom absolutely loves her and I can't begin to explain how many times she's asked me to be like Kayla. Can't blame her though, even I wouldn't mind being like Kayla.
She made her way to my bed, dodging the pile of clothes I had on my floor. She looked at me and rolled her eyes while she sat on the side of my bed. "What?" I asked.
"What would you do without me?" Kayla said as she proceeded folding my clothes. To be honest, even I don't know what I would do without her.
After a few hours that passed by like minutes, it was time to say goodbye. I invited her to Paris with me but she couldn't due to family problems which really sucked because I know she would love Paris. Last time I went to Paris, it was with my ex-boyfriend, Erik.
Shit. Realizition hit me as I remembered that Erik moved to Paris not too long ago because of his sister who was enrolled in a fashion designing university, his whole family decided to move because of her. She would make dresses for me all the time and I loved every single one of them but that ended when my relationship with Erik did.
I really hope I don't run into him. He hates me.
I was lost in my thoughts until the announcement telling me It was time to get in the plane interrupted me in deep thought. Ugh, I hated planes and airports but Paris was worth it.
---
I got to my hotel, it was the same hotel Erik and I stayed in the last time. It was connected to a huge mall and had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. Everything about this hotel and place reminds me of him and the times we had. Hate to admit it, but I do kind of miss him. No way in hell would I tell anyone about it though.
I passed by a game room, scratch that, I mean THE game room Erik and I, spent most of our time in. I think I still may have that one teddy bear he won me in my room somewhere. It was cute, just like him. Again, I was interrupted in deep thought when two big men came my way and offered to take me and my luggage to my suite.
The suite was HUGE and I loved every inch of it. The fridge was filled with my favorite chocolates too so that was a plus.
I guess I'm going to spend most of my time in the hotel tonight, it's getting late and my personal tour guide doesn't get here till tomorrow.
I pulled out my laptop from one of my suitcases and put on my favorite show. Before I knew it, my eyes were heavy and I fell asleep before I could count to three.
---
There it was, the big black SUV. My personal tour guide was finally here. The door opened and a short little figure came my way greeting me in the nicest way possible. I wouldn't mind spending most of my time in Paris with her, she seemed really kind so far.
I got in the backseat and was greeted by the driver, which by the way was French and cute. I guess... I wouldn't mind spending most of my time in Paris with him either.
"So, what would you like to visit today?" My personal tour guide, Anabel asked.
"The Louvre." I answered. Last time I came with Erik, he didn't take me there. He hated boring musuem stuff but I on the other hand loved it so there's no way I'm missing it this time.
