ALEXIS' POV
"I have nothing to wear!" I whispered to myself. My brother walks in and throws down some clothes for me then walks out. "Thank you!" I shout to him. My brother has the best fashion sense known to man. I throw on what he picked out and see that it's my white shorts and teal tank. CRAP! I didn't have him pick out shoes. "Harry?" I called, "I forgot shoes!" " Brown boots!" He shouts back and I put on what he said. Now I must leave to go to highschool. I jump in my Jeep and speed off to school. When I get there I jump out of my Jeep and fall on my face. "Oh my gosh, here let me help you." A stunningly handsome boy helps me up. "Th-thank you" I mumble getting lost in his eyes. I hear a distant bell and snap out of my trance. "Crap we're late!" I say and start running towards the door. He takes off after me and we run through the doors together. We step into the front office and the lady looks at us in annoyance. "You're late. You both have a week of detention." She says to us. I groan, a whole week? "Why a week?" The boy asks. I need to figure out his name. "Because I said so. End.... of...."She trails off looking dazed. ""Please let us go free." He pleads to her. "O.....K....... wait you at least have to have one day." She says snapping out of the trance. "Fine come on we need to get to class." I say and pull him out the door. What classes do you have?" I ask. He pulls out his schedule and hands it to me.
Susej, Tyler
1st period- Biology
2nd period- Algebra 2
3rd period- LUNCH
4th period- Language Arts
5th period- Free
I kept reading down his schedule to see that mine was exactly like mine. "We have all the same classes." I say and he nods thoughtfully. "Where's biology?" I ask looking for the room number. "What number is it?" He asks. "307" I reply. We wander down the halls finally finding our class. He opens the door and walks right in with me trailing behind. "Who are you? And why are you late?" The teacher asks. I look for her name and spot it on the board. Ms. Damper. "Well Ms. D-amper. I-I fell ou-outside and was in the b-back of the p-parking lot." I say. "And I was helping her up when the bell rang." Tyler (I saw his name on his schedule) says smiling. "Well that's too bad, your gonna have to-" Ms. Damper falters. She did that when she looked into Tyler's eyes, so did the lady at the front desk. "You have a warning now. Next time you wont be so lucky." She states and shakes her head. Why did everyone who looks at Tyler's eyes go hazy? I look for an empty seat and find two, at the same table. I quickly walk over to a seat and sit down. Tyler looks over to me and sits beside me. Looks like we're partners. At the end of Biology we start walking to Algebra when suddenly I was being pushed up against a locker. "Hey pretty girl, where you headed?" Some weird guy asks me. "To class. Now please leave me alone." I say trying to push him away. It doesn't work, he was way to strong. "She said leave her alone!" Tyler says pulling the guy off of me by his collar. "Why are you defending her? Are you her boyfriend?" The guy asks Tyler. "No but you shouldn't be doing that to anyone. If I ever see you doing that again, I will kill you. Understand?" Tyler says. The guy nods with wide eyes and Tyler lets him go. I straighten myself out and head toward my next class. "Are you ok?" Tyler asks. I nod and send him a smile. We walk into class and I notice that again we sit next to each other. "Well what do you know. We sit next to each other." I say and Tyler laughs. I must have fallen asleep because Tyler shakes my shoulder and tells me it's time to leave. "Where's the cafeteria?" I ask. "It's over here." Tyler says and then pulls me over to the big double doors that say 'Cafeteria'. "I knew that. I was just seeing if you knew how to read." I say and walk in. "ALEXIS!" I hear my brother Harry call. "Harry?" I ask looking around. I can't find him. "Why are you looking for me on the ceiling?" Harry asks. I look down and laugh. "I couldn't find you." I could barely make out through my giggles. "Well I brought you lunch from-" He started but I cut him off. "WENDY'S! OMG I LOVE YOU!" I say taking my food from him.
TYLER'S POV
"OMG I LOVE YOU!" Alexis says. I now know her name, thank you Harry for shouting it out. He must be her boyfriend. I start walking to the line when Alexis grabs my arm. I turn towards her. "I have extra food. If you want." She says and I smile. She starts unpacking her food bag and I'm amazed at how much food there is. "How are tiny little you going to eat all of this?" I ask. "Oh you'd be surprised." She says and hands me a Son of a Baconator. I eat the burger and fries and realize that there's only one drink. "You can have some I don't care." She says. wow she must have been reading my thoughts. I take a sip of the drink and taste Gatorade. I like it. I've never had it before. Now before you call me insane I have a perfectly good explanation. You may be wondering where my last name came from. Well when angles are assigned a human, they are given a name. All angels last names are back word names. Mine for instance, Susej, means Jesus. I know right? I got the best last name ever! Anyway my humans name is, Alyssa Gilbert. She's right behind me. I have all of the same classes with her so I can keep an eye on her. I know what your thinking, if Alyssa is your human, then why are you hanging out with Alexis? The answer is simple, I cant touch or talk with Alyssa until she needs me. She can only talk with me once EVER so I've gotta just keep my eye on her till that time comes. Also I kinda like Alexis, she's cool. "So, Tyler, what are you going to do during free period?" Alexis asks. Follow Alyssa. "Um I think I might go to the library, or go to the gym." I say. She nods. I turn around to check on Alyssa and see that she's gone. WHAT?!?! I search the cafeteria for her but, find nothing. I have to find her. I close my eyes and concentrate on her face. "What's wrong? Are you ok?" Alexis asks. I find that she went to the bathroom so I look at Alexis. "I'm fine, sorry for the scare. Can I call you Alex?" I ask. Not that I don't love her name, it's just that its a little long. "Um sure, can I call you Ty?" I shake my head. "Sorry but that brings up some bad memories." I say remembering the girl that called me Ty. She was my love, until she committed suicide. "Ok then what's your middle name?" She asks. "Jason." I reply. "Well then how about I call you Jas?" She asks. I nod and hear Alyssa come back in. "Well Jas where do you live? Not being stalker like. Just wondering." She says. "In the old Boarding house, down on sweetheart road." I reply. Her eyes go wide as I tell her that. I raise an eyebrow and she starts to speak. "Sorry it's just that my parents died in a car crash on that road." she says.
