Jenna waved her mother goodbye and walked into the classroom. There were kids everywhere and thankfully no one noticed her. She decided to sit at the table that had fairy tales on it.
Jenna scanned the pile of books and picked up a book about Peter Pan. As she read the book and admired the pictures someone tapped on her shoulder. Jenna put her book down and turned around to see a girl with sky blue eyes and dark brown hair smiling at her.
"Hiya! Are you the new kid?"
"Uh..um..."
"Oh a shy one!" She laughed.
Jenna looked around trying to avoid the conversation.
"I'm Jordan Penny Jackson." She said cheerfully. When Jenna didn't respond and continued looking away Jordan tapped her on the should again and said, "Hey don't be rude and introduce yourself. My mom says being rude never ends with you getting new friends." Jenna turned and looked at her.
"I-I'm Jenna Penelope Jackson...."
The girl's face suddenly glowed with joy.
"Cool! You have the same last name as me!" Jordan shouted throwing her hands in the air.
Jenna sat there awkwardly and quiet. Jordan's face went from pure excitement to confusion.
"It is cool right?" Jordan asked.
"Um....I guess.." Jenna responded shrugging her shoulders.
