Unexpected Love

The Date 1

Reached home 3:15 P:m
I walked inside my house to find my best friend Elizabeth Park on my couch reading my diary. Her nickname is Lizzy, so I sometimes call her Lizzy or Elizabeth. Ever since we met at preschool we've been best friends ever since. She's loyal and very good at giving advice. We have many things in common, but she's one year older than me.

I walked up to her and said "What're you doing with my diary. You know I don't have anything interesting in there to read." I told her

"You really should start writing good stuff in here. Not because your 18 doesn't mean you can't use a diary." She said

I just sighed then grabbed the book from her hand. "Hey I was reading that." She said with a pout.

"Well not anymore." I told her. "Because I have something interesting I have to talk to you about. Like what happened to me today."

"Well don't leave me hanging!" She said with a smile cause she's nosey like that.

"Okay so today I was walking on the street, then all of a sudden I bumped into someone..._ _ _ __

I told her the hole story and she looked surprised and happy at the same time.

" Well what're you planning on wearing to this date? I mean you've gotta look good if your going to make a good impression tonight. " She said

I replied "Well... I was planning on dressing casual tonight."

"But you COULD also let me dress you up?" She said excitingly while hoping I'd say 'Yes'.

"Hold on let me think about it." I said. "Um no" I said. "Because I wanna dress down and you wanna dress me up." I told her

"Okay fine, but next time am dressing you up." She  said. "Fine by me" I replied

Right after me and Elizabeth were done talking, I got a text message on my phone from Jake.

Me and Lizzy looked at my phone to see that the guy I met today has texted me. "What does it say?" Lizzy asked. "It's just the address for the date am going on" I told her. "Well then answer it." She said. "That's what I was planning to do. Stop interrupting my thoughts." I told her

From Jake:

Hey Emma!! I was wondering if we could go to the the movies for our date? How does it sound?

To Jake:

Yeah the movies sounds good. Am I gonna meet you there or are you gonna come get me at my house?

I'd send you the address.

From Jake:

Ok, send the address.

After sending my address to him.

From Jake:

Okay then. I'll meet you at 7:30 ok?

To Jake:

Okay bye.

With that said I turned off my phone and turned to Lizzy. "So what now?" I asked. She said "Well since its 6:00 P:M, we could get you dressed up then watch some cartoons while waiting on your date to arrive".

" Okay that sounds like a plan. But am gonna go hit the showers first cause right now I think that my odour would kill the both of us before my date arrives." I said with a smirk.

Lizzy started laughing then said "Yeah. You go do that". With that being said I ran up the stairs to my room to go look for something to wear after am done showering.

I opened my closet then I took out a black jeans pants that stretches, but hugs my body very well. Then I took out my a white T-shirt along with my black leather jacked. And decided to wear my white Adidas to go along with it.

While sighing I stripped off my clothes and hopped in the shower. I took up my phone and played 'too good at goodbye's' by SAM Smith. I sang along to the song while showering.

After 20 minutes. Yes 20 minutes. I take very long to use the bathroom every time. After putting on my clothes I went downstairs to see Lizzy walking into he loving room with two cups of hot chocolate.

" Hi Lizzy, looks like I made it in time for hot chocolate. " I said with a smile.

"Emma you took SO long in the bathroom, I was just about to drink your hot chocolate." She said with a pout. "Then its a good thing I came right on time to stop you from doing that." I said while taking one on the cup from her hand.

"And speaking of time." I said while taking my phone outta my pocket. "It's 7:00". I said while gasping. " Wow time moves fast."I said

Me and Lizzy decided to sit on the couch and kill time while waiting on Jake to come pick me up.

After 30 minutes I heard a knock on the door. I got up to open the door to see Jake standing with his hands in his pockets. He wore a blue jeans pants with a white V neck shirt that showed off his muscles very much.

"Hi Emma." He said with a smile.

"Hey Jake." I said returning the smile "Come on in, an meet my friend. Her name is Elizabeth but I call her Lizzy".

He waved at Lizzy then Lizzy waved back at him awkwardly while looking as if she was drooling over him. I just slapped myself mentally over her action.

I broke the silence an said " Well Jake I think it's time to go". He looked at me and nodded then said "Yeah.. We should probably get going."

As we were walking through the door I said "Bye  Lizzy. I'll see you later." She said excitedly "Goodbye Emma!! Have fun."

As I was walking on the porch behind Jake. I looked in front of him to see a black Lamborghini parked my garage.

"Wow!... Is that yours?" I said totally at a lost for words.

He shook his head yes. "Oh. It looks nice." I said

He said "Thanks. But I think you'll look better driving in it with me." He said jokingly. "Well we'll just see about that, now won't we." I said playfully.
