A hooded figure raced through a dark forest, holding a small bundle. Behind the figure were loud sounds of gunshots and voices. The figure sped quickly, deeper and deeper into the woods.
Finally, it stopped. At the base of a large tree was a small dark hole. The figure unwrapped the bundle and inside lay what looked like a newborn child.
It had large lavender eyes and small, thin and pink lips open in curiosity. It looked up at the figure questioningly as it was placed at the foot of the tree, as if asking "are you serious?"
The figure smiled sadly at the child one last time. "Yes, I am. Goodbye, child. I trust you will overcome the evil. You must."
The shots in the distance grew louder and louder. A tear barely visible under the shadow of the figure's hood slipped down it's cheek.
"Farewell, Hwaryun Yue Grace."
And off the figure went, disappearing into the woods. The young child watched the figure go without a word out her mouth.
The child lay there under the tree for hours until even the men's guns and shouts faded away. She sat under the big dark tree, unable to move, waiting for the figure from earlier to come back.
They never did. However, a young man did come for her He wore a long black jacket and a red sweater. He walked as if he knew she were there, footsteps coming closer and closer. When he arrived at the base of the tree he sighed with disgust, his long, dark boots tapping aggressively on the floor.
The girl looked up at him suspiciously. He looked down at her with ridicule. With a wave of his gloved hand, the child immediately fell asleep.
"We can't have Rose messing with this child. Those memories must be erased." He took a look at the perfect child. "Hwaryun? What a load of nonsense. You're no child of the mighty,
"You're just a weak child who lucked out and got born into a mighty family. You will never overcome the evil."
