ew. i hate mornings. hayley loves mornings, so she will be downstairs yelling and screaming in no time. then all the sudden, i got a phone call. "some people say that the moment is gone, and then they tell you that it's time to move on, but don't you listen to a word that they say, cause we got magic that just won't go away, and we may be a hundred worlds apart but that won't keep me from your heart." oh shit. that is my ring tone for jayden... why is she calling me? i thought she wouldn't talk to me anymore, i thought i had lost my best friend... but i guess not? i slowly picked up the phone and answered. "ann- annie? are you there?" she nervously stuttered. "... hi jay." "when you get to school, meet me by mrs. daurnaphews room, i need to tell you something. in person." then she just hung up before i could even answer, i wonder what she's gonna say to me. I jumped out of bed and grabbed a pair of ripped jeans, a blue crop top, my hair in two French braids, black vans and white hoop-ed earrings. I applied some light makeup, touched up my fake nails, grabbed my phone, purse, and sunglasses and headed out of the door. I went downstairs and saw hayley sitting on the middle stool at the counter and caleb standing across from hayley. I walked downstairs and sat on hayley's left (caleb's right) and i started to speak to hayley. "so hay," i started, i have to tell her that i like a girl, more specifically jayden. "you know how boys like girls and girls like boys, right?" i said. then she just shook her head and continued putting cereal in her mouth. "annie, you don't have to do this now." caleb said, which means he isn't asking, he is telling. "caleb, i'm doing it." wow. That was the first time i'd ever undermined my big brother before. Go me! moving on, "well, hayley... i'm different." "what do you mean, annie?" she said looking very confused, god damn this is gonna be so hard. "well um... i like girls." hayley just dropped her spoon in her bowl and stared at me. then all of the sudden, she just leaped into my arms and hugged me tight and whispered, "i don't care who the hell ya like annie. i love you for you." I smiled and squeezed her. "go get ready for school." i said smiling at her. she ran upstairs to get her backpack, and leave, with caleb. i then spoke, "bye caleb. i love you." "i love you too anns." then I walked out and yelled, "I LOVE YOU HAYLEY!" and she screamed it back. i walked outside and jumped into the car with my friends. the driver was hayden, (yes we are still friends, because no one knows we broke up besides jayden) behind hayden was caden, next to caden was mads, next to mads was dylan, sitting in the floor board in front of dylan was brooke, then infront of mads feet was riley, then infront of caden's was carson's. then leaning on the door about to fall out of the car on caden's side was aliyah. then on dylan's side was rush. i normally ride with my group of best friends, caleb, hayley, brennan, luke, syd, katie and ryan but sometimes i'd ride with hayden, mads, caden, brooke, dylan, aliyah, riley and carson. jenna has been sick for the past few days, so she hasn't been at school sadly.

i went to mrs. d's classroom and saw jayden in there. she made me lock the door and shut all the curtains. "what's up jay?" "i — we need to talk." "what's up jay?" i spoke softly. "i like you, annie."
