A/N: Hey Everyone!
This is my second novel. I actually enjoyed writing its first chapter and so I hope you also enjoy reading it. ^-^
Lucy
''Luuuuucy!'' Oh no. Not at this time. Let me sleep. I pulled the blanket over my head. Seriously she can't wake me up at this hour.
''Lucy! Come downstairs right now!'' Oh shit. Mrs.Amanda Greyson, my mother of course, is in full force. Well... I'm not going to wake up mom. Nah-uh.
I was just about to doze off when someone switched on my room's lights, and switched off my fan, opened the curtains to let the sunlight in and..... snatched my blanket off of my face. -.- Urgh.
''Lucy wake up! God you sleep like the dead.''
''Mo-om. Go away let me sleep.'' I rolled to another side.
''Lucy, wake up or I'm going to spank you.''
Now I was fully awake. What?!!! I admit I'm 7 but that doesn't mean she gets to spank me.
I gasped and laid on my back to keep my behind away and secured from her. She had never done it before but who knows. Moms are always unpredictable. They know your fears well and so she knows mine. She once caught me wincing when I was watching Kids Next Door and the vampire in that cartoon was spanking every kid in it. Poor kids. They always rubbed their behinds after that and number 2 and 4 looked so adorable doing that. I always wanted to hug them and pat their backs saying, there, there. But that wasn't possible. I can't get inside a TV now, can I? But I always thought why that vampire liked spanking kids. I mean what was the purpose of it?
''Lucy?'' Oh boy. I totally forgot about my mother. Well that happens a lot. I have a great imagination. It is so great that sometimes I go into such depth that I completely forget about my surroundings.
''Lucy!'' Oh yeah Mom. See what I mean?
''Our neighbors are coming. They'll be here any moment. Get up and get ready or I'm simply going to drag you out of this bed.''
''Like I care. I don't care what our guests think. If they have to think about something tell them to think before barging into someone's house at this hour. People are sleeping at this time.''
Mom gasped.''Lucy! That was so rude of you. How could you possibly say something like that?''
I sat up in my bed.
''Mom, I'm tired. I want to go to sleep and here you are waking me up at-'' I glanced at my Ed, Edd and Eddy clock,'' 8 in the morning.'' Surprise surprise. Yes, I can read time. I'm a very talented girl. Never underestimate me. And yeah Ed, Edd and Eddy is my favorite cartoon. *sighs*
''Scarlett, our neighbor, is coming here with her son. We both are going out. So you two are going to stay together. I'm taking Liza with me.''
Liza is my 1 year old baby sister and I love her dearly. I always wanted a sister. And I got one. You know what that means? It means I always get what I want. *smirks*
''For God's Sake! Are you ever going to leave that bed?''
''Okay. Okay.'' I climbed out of my bed and made my way to the bathroom. I stepped over the stool and looked at the mirror. A brunette with blonde highlights (they're natural I'm too young to dye them) and chocolate brown eyes stared back at me with a bored expression. Yeah that's me. I look gorgeous even though I just woke up. Kidding. I'm not that self-obsessed with myself. I look pathetic right now. I brushed my teeth. While I was doing that my mom knocked on the door.
