"Hey Y/N! You done?"

Nandito na pala si kuya! Di man lang ako sinabihan ni mama. Psh.

"Yes, kuya. I just doubt this day, kasi finallyyy! We'll have our date na!"

Excited filled my whole body! Yeah, OA na kung OA.

"Crazy. Sige na. I'll wait you downstairs, okay? Be fast. You know I hate waiting."

Then he messed my hair! Argh!

"Kuya! Bumaba ka na nga lang! You ruined my hair na oh! Naman eh!"

He just chuckled at bumaba na.

"Yeeeeeeeeeyyy~ I really enjoyed that place kuya! Unicorn themed yung place nila and their foods were really delicious!"

Puro puso na siguro yung mata ko. Well, kanina ko pa kasi pinapaulit-ulit kay kuya how much I love that place.

"You knew me really well, kuya! Thank you! Let's go back there ulit, please? Ha, kuya?"

Nag-puppy eyes ako sa kanya sabay wink wink ng eyes ko. Hihi.

"Alright, Y/N. Yan ay kung nandito pa ako next time."

Bigla akong nahinto sa paglalakad namin. What does he mean by that?

"Kuya? Why won't you here next time?"

He smiled at me at inakbayan ako kasabay nang paglakad ulit namin.

"I will be working abroad maybe a week or two, sis. Mas malaki kasi ang sahod doon."

I nodded as if I really accepted that he's gonna leave me..

"Sorry, Y/N. I did--"

"It's alright, kuya. I understand. It's for you and your family's future so it's okay."

I smiled at him, hiding the start of loneliness inside me.

"I know you hate goodbyes, bunso. Sorry. But I really have to do this."

Napayuko sya. Inalis ko naman yung braso nyang naka-akbay sakin. Yeah, he may not be my biological brother, but with him, I feel safe, comfortable, and protected.

"I know, kuya. Nasanay lang talaga siguro ako sa presence mo, that's why I'm like this. You know, I'm the only child and I'm longing for a big bro like you. But yeah, nothing's permanent. Nakakatampo kasi di ko naisip noon na you'll leave me."

Tears escaped from my eyes, pero pinunasan ko din iyon. Ayaw kong magbago ang isip ni kuya just because of my drama.

"I'll be okay, kuya. For now, nagtatampo lang siguro ako. I know you'll be back, but after long long years pa. I'll wait you na lang, kuya. Let's go."

Nauna na akong maglakad sa kanya. I wish him all the best, I want him to be successful when he came back.

"I promise to be back, Y/N.."

I heard him sighed after.
