Prologue
Melody-Rose P.O.V
I was sitting on the roof of the abandoned Jewlery Factory when I heard a group of people coming in and i got up and got off the roof so I could leave without being noticed. Then I heard one of the people who sounded like a guy say ‘It sounds like someone else is here’. I then panicked when I heard the group walking towards where I was. When they rounded the corner my eyes widened in shock because of who it was. You could tell two of them were surprised too
“Mel you still come here,” the dark haired one name Colby said.
“Ye-yeah, what are y-you guys doing b-back in Ka-Kansas?” I asked stuttering a bit.
“We're here for my brothers graduation,”the blonde boy named Sam responded.
“Yeah, so we decided to come here and make a video for our YouTube channel,”Colby added.
“Oh, I forgot your brother was graduating this year,” I said.
“So what have you been up to, since we left to Las Angeles,” Sam asked.
“Nothing really I've just been studying but I got into a college I'll be going there soon,” I answered.
“Oh, what college will you be going to?”Sam asked me while Colby was looking around trying to avoid me.
“I'm leaving the end of the week to UCLA,” I answered Sam.
Colby then looked at me surprised. “So you’ll be going to L.A.”
I nod as a response to Colby while Sam looked ecstatic. “You should stay with us we have a room you can stay in we just have to ask Corey,” Sam said.
“Really it’d be so helpful,” I said smiling but then I looked at Colby and realized that he probably didn't want me to stay and my smile faded.
“Okay, I'll call Corey when I get home after we film the video,” Sam said happily. I didn't want to make him upset because by not going just because it's awkward between me and Colby.
“I'm gonna go home I have a lot of stuff to do before I leave to California,”I told Sam.
“Okay, bye I'll message you later on Snapchat if you give me your username to tell you what Corey says,” Sam told me.
“My Snapchat is MelRose,” I told him and then we exchanged goodbyes and hugs even with Colby because I wanted Sam to be happy.
When I get home to my apartment I take a quick shower then make something for dinner. After I cook I sit at the table and eat then check my Snapchat to see I have a friends request from both San and Colby. I accept both request and see the i have messages from them both. I decide to check Sam’s message first which was just a ‘Corey said yes’ and I replied with a ‘yay’. Then I checked Colby’s message.
