*Parr family POV*
It was a sunny afternoon in Metroville when....
*Beep Beep Beep*
"Dashiell Robert Parr! I told you too turn off that police scanner!" Helen yells from across the room.
"But mom....!" Dash yells back while trying to hear what the scanner is saying.
"You heard her.... If I were you I would listen." Violet says in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh come on Violet you gotta admit you're bored!"
"Actually I wouldn't mind reading for the rest of the afternoon, besides I need something to keep me busy while I wait for Tony." Violet says while flipping through the pages of her book.
Dash chuckles "Heh, Tonyloaf!"
"Dont call him that!" Violet says blushing
"Dash you know your sister doesn't like it when you call him that" Bob (Mr.Incredible himself) says while coming down the stairs.
"Fine!" Dash says while turning the police scanner back up.
"Finally that little insect shut up...." Violet mentions to herself.
*3 hours later*
"Mom!..... Mom!..... Mom!" Violet yells while sobbing on the floor.
"Whats wrong Vi?" Helen asks.
"He- *sniffles* had to *sniffles again* cancel on me!" Violet says trying to stay calm
"Who did what?"
"Tony cancelled on me because he had to cover someones shift!"
"Oh, honey its okay. One time your father cancelled on me because he wanted to go fight crime." Helen says trying to cheer Violet up.
"Really? He just stood you up to fight crime?"
"Yeah I know it sounds bad but, hey we are happily married now!" Helen tells Violet trying to give her a sign of hope
*Dash comes around the corner*
"Mom? Dad? Do you know where Mr.Deavor keeps the plunger....." Dash stops talkin and walks up to Violet slowly.
"Go away." Violet says with an over the top sad voice.
"I want to know if you are ok.... but if I need to leave you alone, I will." Dash says.
Dash is an annoying yet caring little brother and he respects what Violet says but plans to give tony a talk at school the next day.
