"It's only the first day! That's totally unfair!" Spoke up the cute girl.
"Natural disasters. Highway pileups. Rampaging villains. Calamity is alway right around the corner. I'd say Japan is full of unfair things." Aizawa scratched his head. "Heroes are the ones who correct all that unfairness.
"If you were hoping to spend your evening hanging around, I'm sorry to tell you that for the next three years UA will run you through the wringer. That's plus ultra. Use your strengths to overcome it all. So bring it. The demonstration is over. Now it's for real."
Event 1: 50 meter dash
A kid named Iida went first. His time was 3.04 second!! A girl named Tsuyu was next and she got 5.58 seconds. The cute girl (who you leaned her name was Uraraka ) got 7.15 seconds.
Soon enough it was your turn. You couldn't think of any way to use your quirk, so you just hauled ass and end up getting 6.48 seconds. It was really close to your time in middle school which was 7.02.
Event 2: grip strength.
This was easy. Your grip strength had been pretty weak in middle school, so seeing improvement with the fact that you were a boy now and you could use your quirk would be easy.
Event 3: long jump
There was this kid with some naval laser and he probably went the farthest.
On your turn you took off your shoes (you were surprised sensei let you) and you used your quirk by pushing chains out of the balls of your feet to give you a boost. You beat your distance in middle school.
Event 4: side stepping
At first you proposed doing the same thing you did with the long jump, but then you realized that it would be stupid and you'd probably skip on the chains that came from your feet. Cue you to hauling ass again.
Event 5: softball throw
This would be easy.
This event was crazy. Almost everyone seemed to do a pretty good job on this one.
Especially Uraraka . She lightened the ball with her quirk and threw it and got infinity!
Then it was the green haired kids turn. He looked really nervous. You make eye contact with him, and you smile encouragingly and give him a thumbs up. He smiles back.
When he tries throwing it doesn't go far. Turns out sensei uses his quirk to stop it. He "erased" it.
After the kid and sensei exchange a few words, he tries again. This time he throws it and gets 705.3 meters!! Wow! But using his quirk causes him to break his finger. Man that sucks.
Your turn is up and you use your quirk to push the ball even farther than you could on your own.
You don't get it as far as the green haired boy, but you get pretty far.
The next few events went by fine and you got pretty good marks on them.
"Moving along. Time for the results. Your total scores reflect your performance in each of the events. Explaining the process would be a waste of time, so all you get are the final ranking." You were nervous. You hoped you did well. "Also I was lying about expelling someone."
Aizawa laughed.
"that was rational deception meant to bring out the best in all of you."
Uraraka and Iida screamed. You were just as shocked, but you didn't scream. You were to focused on getting a good score than to think about his threat.
"Well of course it was a lie. Didn't take that much to figure it out," said a girl with dark hair worn in a ponytail.
"Anyway we're done here," said Aizawa, walking away. Your documents about the curriculum and such are back in the classroom. Give them a look."
Before leaving, he gives the green hair kid a slip of paper and tells him to see recovery girl.
You look at the results. You got 11th place, which wasn't bad, but you felt like you could do better.

You had to walk home from school that day because your sister was working.
You see three kids from your class walking away from the school as well. It was Uraraka , Iida and the green haired kid.
Uraraka waved to you. You waved back.
You walk over to them and say hi.
"I'm Ochako Uraraka. Your Tenya Iida and Midoriya... um... Deku right?" Uraraka said quite loudly.
The green haired kid- Midoriya then explained to her that "Deku" was a nickname Bakugo gave him.
"But 'Deku', well.. it just screams 'do your best!' I kinda like it."
"DEKUS FINE!!" Midoriya said, looking flustered.
"Your L/n, right?" Uraraka asked, turning to you.
"Y-yeah. It's nice to meet you guys." You say. She was so friendly. And cute. It's almost illegal.
"I didn't get your given name," she said.
You made a face. "It's... kind of a girls name..." you say, looking away, a little embarrassed.
"Oh!" She said.
"It's Y/n," you say. You wonder if they're going to laugh.
"I think it's cute!" Uraraka says. You get flustered. A cute girl things your name is cute??
"It's not that bad," said Iida.
"Yeah," Midoriya agreed. "I kinda like it."
"Thanks, guys," you say bashfully.
It's only the first day, and your already making friends. You could already tell you were going to actually like this school year.
-
"How was your first day, Y/n?" Your sister asked when she got home that night.
"It was pretty interesting," you said. "Home room teacher is a bit scary. He threatened to expel one of us! Can you believe?"
You then explain what had happened in Aizawas class that morning. She was shocked.
Yuna laughed.
"I've heard stories about Aizawa from other students when I went there. He's expelled whole classes of first years."
"No way!" Unbelievable!
"Yes way!" She said, heading toward the kitchen. "How much did you use your quirk today?"
"Not much," you say. "Just enough to make me a little bit tired."
"Well your in luck because I made tofu and baked potatos anyway!"
You know what? Life seemed pretty good for you at the moment, despite of all the crazy shit that has happened to you. You hoped it would last a while.
