-Samantha!! My colleague yelled behind me as I furiously walked away from her when she told me she will move away and has already sold the small apartment we lived in, so now I have nowhere to live. I also wanted to move out of town, but never had the funds to do that, until now.

My name is Samantha Green, I am 25 years old and I currently live in a small town from Oregon. My work colleague, best friend and roommate is leaving with her fiance, leaving me, our friendship behind, and sold our little apartment, telling me she will give me more than half of the money,  because her fiance is pretty much rich and he already has a mansion in another state. Cool. If she wouldn't give me all that money, I wouldn't have the funds to move out of  town. But now I can. And I will. I need to get away from my parents, ex-boyfriend (who, mind you, doesn't stop texting me), toxic friends and boring work.

           *fast-forward 4 days*

I moved out of town,  and got a little apartment which is still pretty much empty. I have a new job, at a clothing design company, and have already made friends. It's currently 4:20  which means I can go home in 10 minutes, so I'm already packing my stuff. I don't have a car yet so I'm taking the bus, and the station to get out of the bus is right in front of the building in which I live. In the morning I also went to the store and got some plates and bowls, which I'm washing right now. Suddenly, a cold air current brushed against my skin, and made me shiver. I looked towards the windows, which were closed, and the fridge door, behind me, opened all of the sudden. I went to close it and the plates that I put to dry after I washed them, went flying on the floor, breaking in a million pieces. It was weird but I didn't think much of it.

After all of that, nothing happened for the rest of the day so I just went to bed, wondering what tomorrow will be like, in this new town, with my few new friends,  and at my new job.
