Chapter 1: First day of school

-Here we are honey, do you got all your things gathered?
-Yes mom, thank you for the ride.
-I can come pick you up after school if you want?
-Mom please no.Don't do that, It's the first day of high school. I think I know the way home anyways.
-Okay honey, but you better hurry up now or you'll be running late.
I grabbed my bag and then I hurried over the parking lot towards the entrance. At first sight I directly noticed: the mean girls, the sport guys, and the rebels. I tried to figure out where I would belong but I couldn't find anyone interesting. I got up to my locker and tried to get the combination right. Unfortunately the locker combination didn't work, I kept on trying. I had started to get awkward looks when you came up to me.
-I can help you with that.
-Oh ehh... thank you.
-I'm Maddie, what's your name?
-Me... oh I'm Lily, Thank you for the help.
-oh no problem, I got to go now but I'll guess I'll see you around?
-yeah, see ya.
You turned away and I saw your pink hair and piercings disappear. I quickly put my books in my locker and rushed off to class.
