Acid rain

3rd person Pov

Silence. You could only hear the trees leaves wrestle from the breeze. Perfect. Ellie positioned her self ready to shoot the deformed deer straight ahead. With the push of the high tech laser gun, a shot of red went 1,000 miles an hour with no sound. The deer collapsed showing its side of the face that had green lumps from radiation.

Ellie carried the deer to towards the gate of a war camp.
"Hello Mr. Gollis." Ellie said to one of the guards patrolling the gate.
"How you doing Ellie? Got some food for tonight?" He replied with a chuckle.
Ellie continued walking then scanned her wrist on a high tech scanner. Her code implant was detected and the gate automatically opened.
Ellie did a slight chuckle. "Yah, pretty heavy to. Feels like 100 lbs."
"That's great. Well make your way to the Main building."
"Thanks Sir."

Ellie started approaching Building A. One of the many buildings that made up the camp of many people. She walked up the steps and opened the large door. Inside there were many voices and she was hit with a nice air conditioning. She also heard voices. The were mostly from the "congress" of men and women that made up Camp Cortez.'s"Government". She passed the long hall to the very end where you could here the clattering of pots and pans. There she saw many other hunters. Many teens picked a job at a young age. She quickly left the kitchen once she spotted Zack. He was a nightmare.

"Hey Ellie." Ellie walked quicker.
"Hi Zack." She said in an annoyed tone
"Wanna go to the party this weekend?"
"No. I'm going with my friends."
"C'mon? Please?" He said with puppy dog eyes as he cut her off. Ellie quickly ran away from him. He was kinda cute, well the cutest guy at camp, but he was a popular. Kinda like the kind of jocks from the 2000's. Ew.

On the way back to the door she dropped by the guard headquarters. There she saw Kyle in the shooting range.
"Hi Kyle." Ellie said enthusiastically
"Hi Ellie" He replied still focused on hitting the target.
"How are you doing?"
"They said I have a high chance of becoming an official guard," he replied as he shot a moving target, "What ya doing?"
"Just brought in my fourth one.On the way here Zack bothered me."
Kyle then flinched a tiny bit. He was a bit red too. But he continued shooting the target.
"Attention everyone, today we will have acid rain. Please do seek precautions and stay safe."
"Ugh, well bye Kyle see ya later."
"Bye." Kyle replied as she excited the building towards the bunks.
