A Walk Home

                           Ellie's Pov

  I saw a girl who looked new. She had freckles and dark strawberry hair. She was definitely new. She looked nice though. I continued walking back to the bunks, over the gravel and past the many buildings that I have always walked past. The bakery, weapon shop and small clothing store. There were many changes to the camp since it was established more than 60 years ago. It was where me and Kyle and his family grew up.

  I kept walking on the gravel walkway till I passed the Hospital, where a little boy was being carried in at the moment. He had a yellow green color skin. Radiation Poisoning. One of the most common things to get treated for. I kept walking. I then realized how big the camp was. It was originally meant for just hospitality for the allied forces. Now it was a small town surrounded by a protective thin, high tech bubble. We still had to walk to some sort of building just in case it malfunctions.

    I walked towards a big tall building. It is called the bunks even though it's just like an apartment building. I walked through the big glass door to be greeted by Elma, a robot assistant, and nice cool air conditioning.
"Hello Ellie." Elma greeted
"Hi Elma." I greeted
"Do you need any assistance?"
"I'm good thanks Elma" I responded
"That's good. Have a good day miss."
"You too Elma"
I continued walking through corridor till I reach the glass elevator. The door opened and I typed in a code for the panel, showing I was a resident. The door closed behind me and it took me to level 2. I continued walking till I got to my room. I swiped my wrist over a scammer and the door opened. I walked in and and changed into something clean. My roommate Lilian was asleep. I plopped myself on my bed and passed out.
