My Life Sucks

Harley's POV

FlashBack to Pre-School

"Hey loser! What's wrong with you huh, scared of cooties?" the little boy sneered in my face. "No, I just don't like to bother with annoying boys." "Think you're tough? We'll see how tough you are." With that the annoying snot-nosed boy shoved me down in the dirt by the tire swing. "Hey, you!!" It was the new girl. "What do you think you're doing?!" "Get lost or you're next!" "oh yea?" She pushed him hard on the ground. He stood up quickly looking shocked. She had an angry look on her face and with that he ran away to find his friends. The girl held her hand out. I took her hand and she helped me to my feet. "I'm Corona." "My name's Harley" There was an instant click i knew we'd always be best friends. We played together everyday. One day she asked, "Wanna hear a great big secret." "Yea!!" "You can not tell anyone." She held out her pinky finger. "Promise?" We locked pinkys. " Pinky promise." She looked at the floor and sighed. "I'm a real vampire." My eyes went wide. "Honest?!" "Cross my heart." She smiled and showed me her pointy glass like teeth. The light reflecting off of them. "I wish I was like you." Her eyes got wide. "Hey!! I know how to fix that!!" We headed off to the girls bathroom. She took the bobby pin out of her hair and snapped it in half. She pricked her finger. "Drink it." She put her finger to my lips and I drank.

Present Time

The bell rang for lunch. I gathered my things and headed to my locker. "Binder check!!" It was the same boy from pre-k. He knocked things out of my hands. They scattered all over the hallway. "Joey! Offiice!!" Mr. Grogan, the Spanish 1 teacher, helped me pick up my things. He is my favorite teacher. I put my stuff in my locker and met up with Corona. "Why the long face Hars?" "Joey." "Aww. I'm sorry Hars." "No, it's ok. I just wish i didnt like him." "He is no good for you Harley!!" "I know Cor, but! He's got these eyes that just, And his smile! Oh, and his hair!" She lightly smacks me on the back of the head. "Snap out of it girl!! Remember he's the one who's been bullying us since preschool! We can't take this anymore. Come on Har, let's some lunch." "I'm not do hungry." Something clicked there and there went my appetite. "Please Har, you gotta eat. Look wat he's doing to you." I didn't reply. She stared at the ground awhile. Then got some food. Why do I want him?
