A/N: I've been a fan of Royai for quite some time, and I figured I should write them a story.
Riza Hawkeye was born in a normal house in a calm part of Central.
On her tenth birthday, the country went to war, and chaos erupted.
When she turned 13, her mother died, leaving behind Riza's grief-stricken father.
When she turned 15 her father vanished.
And she was on the streets.

Roy Mustang never expected to go to war.
But when war broke out when he was thirteen, he already knew he would go there someday.
So when he turned 17, he packed his bags and left on a train towards the deserts.
And the war.
And he fought, seeing children and innocents die in the streets, his friends shot down.
And he wouldn't forget any of it.
