The House Without Doors

There's a house with no doors
No windows and no light
Its blue paint is peeling
Its front porch is fallen
Its garden is unkept
Stormed with weeds
Its sad and so lonely
But if only you could see
If only you knew
It once had light
And color and love
It once was open
It had purpose
They built it together
Just the two of them
It was beautiful
With smiles and laughter
With flowers and a porch
Where they once sat together
And enjoyed each other
Now it is aged
Gone and neglected
But one still lives there
She's trapped inside
In the house with no doors
