Quick Author's Note: Thank you for those who are still continuing to read with me! I love it! I also love hearing feedback and knowing if it was great or not, so PLEASE, vote/comment if you liked it! :)
Also, look at Niall over on the right! You guys have probably seen that picture before but he's just so adorable... I had to continue the trend of posting pictures with chapters!
And of course there's the Backstreet Boys, one of the first boybands for me to ever like! I had to post their song for this chapter! <3 Okay, carry on reading now! :)
NIALL
"He's been moping around in his room for a couple days now." I hear Zayn murmur outside my room.
At hearing this, I only bury myself further under my covers, as if I can hide from the world forever by doing so.
"He won't come out for anything?" Liam asks in response. "I've seen him sneak down and get food on occasion."
I can just imagine Zayn shaking his head as he says, "Other than that and the restroom, he doesn't come out. I think it's still about that girl."
I internally groan. It is still about that girl. I've been rejected before, I've been lied to before, but something about this is even worse. It's like breaking my heart without even dating, it just doesn't make sense.
"We should probably talk to the lad," Harry says.
After that I hear the shuffle of footsteps and the quiet creak of my door opening.
"Niall?" Louis asks slowly. "Can you stop being a vampire for three seconds to talk to us?"
I groan and sit up, just as Harry decides to open the curtains on my windows, making me flinch away at the sudden light. Now I know what Louis means with the whole vampire thing...
"Do I have to?"
"Yes." Liam says shortly, crossing his arms over his chest as they all gather at the foot of my bed.
"Why are you still stuck on this girl?" Harry asks, tilting his head to the side slightly and causing his curls to bounce.
I glower at them all, still squinting slightly at the bright light. "I've been asking myself the same question."
"Is it the fact that you were... rejected?" Harry asks slowly. "Or do you think she's something special?"
That's a good question. I do think she's something special, I honestly do or I probably wouldn't be stuck on her like this almost five days later. But the rejection stings just as much. It might be different if I thought she wasn't as unique as she is... but it's not.
"Both." I groan as I explain my internal thoughts to them in short.
"If you like her so much," Zayn begins, sharing another glance with the rest of the boys. "Why don't you look for her?"
"Yeah, instead of moping around the house and feeling sorry for yourself." Louis jokes, but even he gives me a kind smile, telling me to go for it.
Search for her? I never really thought of that. Do I want her that badly?
You've been thinking about her for how long already? Lad, you want her.
"Okay," I finally say, slinging my legs out of bed and standing to face them all. "I'll try."
They give little cheers as I pull on clothes suitable to go outside. I don't know how I'm going to find her, but they're right, I have to at least try. And if that means hunting all over London, California, or wherever she's really from, I'll do it.
