Quinn's pov

The start of high school.....I'm basically an adult now. Anyway, High School is stupid just like middle school was. I feel like I'm way to smart for high school. You don't even learn the things you need in the real world in high school....like what kinda of bogus thing is that. You don't learn how to buy a house, how to find the right career, or even how you to pay taxes! I'm not excited about starting this "new chapter". High school is were adolescent teens try to find where they fit in, where they "belong", and it's full of unnecessary drama. I'm a freshman and I already want to graduate.
Plus I moved away from all my friends! My mom and dad decided it would be good to move to California. I mean it's great living near a beach and stuff but seriously! I hate being the new girl. But I guess moving was good because my dad got a new job which made us basically rich. We live in a big beautiful house with a lot of rooms. My room is amazing. I love it. And we have a kitchen staff because my mom can't cook for us a lot because she travels away for her job and my dad works really late so it's just me with the staff. Always. My babysitter or nanny, whatever you want to call her, she is so ridiculous. I spend so much time with her that she's basically my older sister I never had but I can't stand her! Since my parents don't really take care of me she does all of that for them. She lives with us because she has to drive me to school, pick me up, take me to practices and tutoring, and make sure I follow rules. Oh and btw her name is Ema.

Ema is also in high school, she is a senior this year. You may be asking what about Ema's parents, well she's emancipation which means she's an adult and doesn't need her parents. They didn't want her anyway and my parents did. I will be going to the same school as Ema, which I'm happy about but she won't be around me all the time. Ema has blonde hair and brown eyes. With this description you probably guess, yes.....she's a cheerleader. She's probably going to try out for our new school but I don't know.

The head chief is Giovani, he's beautiful. He should really be a model instead of a cook. I flirt with him every morning he makes me breakfast and if Ema hears me she usually slaps my thigh and tells me to stop. She always ruins the fun! Ok enough about that let's start with my day.

6:45 am
Ema woke me up. She walked into my room and shook the life out of me.
"Wake up!" She yelled

"Ok! I'm waking up!" I yelled back
Ema left the room and I stayed in bed for 10 more minutes which turned into 20 minutes which turned into......you get the point.
Ema was pissed when she walked into my room.

"QUINN!" She yelled. I looked up to see her death stare. Now let me tell you, that death stare is the worse look. It's scary!

"I'm sorry!" I whined getting up. I looked at my phone and it was 7:30 am, School here starts at 7:45 am. Ema has late arrival because she's a senior. But I have to be there at 7:45.

"You have to be at school at 7:45!" Ema yelled

I hate being yelled at and Ema knows that.
"I'm sorry Ema." I said sadly looking for my uniform.
I hate wearing a uniform! Like what the hell! A uniform! It's so ugly!

"You better be ready in 5 minutes." She said sternly and walked down the stairs
I rushed and put on my uniform and put conditioner and oil in my hair and then I just left it down. I put on some mascara and grabbed my backpack and phone and ran down the stairs.

Mom and Dad were already gone. Like always. Giovanni was in the kitchen with the rest of the staff.
I grabbed my lunch and stuffed it in my bag.
"Bye Giovanni." I said in a flirty voice and Ema grabbed my arm and dragged me out the door.

"In the car now!" She yelled

I didn't say anything, I just hopped in the car.

My dad bought Ema a red mustang for her 16th birthday. She drives fast when she's mad.
She took off out of the drive way.
"Ema slow down!" I yelled scared for my life.
"Shut up!" She yelled
