"That's such a shame, she was very pretty and her personality was beautiful." Said a small, frowning boy which was stood beside another, both of them mourning for the sad passing of a young woman in her late twenties. She had gotten into an unfortunate accident involving two cars colliding and piercing screams to echo throughout the two grim reaper's pointed ears.

"I guess you won't ever expect death which approaches unless you inflict it on yourself.. you'll never know, that's until it hits you, Ash." The taller male spoke from beside his friend, his own breathing causing small puffs of white, almost transparent vapor to rise into the cold winter air. Wouldn't that be suicide? That very thought pops into the shorter male, the one which had previously been called Ash's head, that is until he shakes his head violently trying to get rid of the horrifying thought which he had been imagining, thereby triggering his friend's reaction.

"Ash are you alright?" Jinxx, Ashley's friend asked after noticing his strange actions completely oblivious to the fact his friend was stuck in a dark mindset, or shall he say, was stuck in a dark mid-set. Ashley then nodded his head a few times, answering Jinxx's question without saying a single word. The thing he hadn't noticed was the warm breath coming from his friend and the several clouds of vapor coming from his mouth, Ashley tilts his head feeling confused as to why the other was doing such a humane thing as breathing.

"Jinxx?" he speaks up about his confusion asking about it and trying to get some answers as to why he was doing what he was. "How come you're breathing now? You do know we don't need to right? and besides, any humans would freak out if they saw a random floating puff of air.. do you want to give someone a heart attack and have to send them off too?" Ashley asks with a small giggle escaping his chapped lips.

"Why? Because it's fun!" as his mindless friend replies to him he lifts his hand to his forehead and covers it in disappointment due to Jinxx's stupidity, ultimately facepalming and not showing his face as he sighs and blows out a large cloud of warm air, creating a white foggy cloud in front of him. His chocolate coloured eyes show a small hint of wonder as he watches it slowly fade into the dark night sky. They both look up for a moment enjoying the silence and beautiful view of the dark navy sky- so dark it was almost black, becoming increasingly speckled with small bunched up atoms forming a small ball of light, those being the stars above.

The two friends were enjoying the comfortable silence each of them gave, but as expected, that soon ends as Ashley speaks up, tugging Jinxx out of his solid gaze up at the sky. He could admit he thought, the sky was beautiful, far more beautiful than anything he had seen at these dark hours and of course, he loved it. He loved the feeling of staring up, up at a dark void which had no simple ending, speckled with shining stars and showing their true beauty. Anyone could get lost in the beautiful sight but it had sadly come to an end as he sharply turns his head, towards his friend he spoke.

"Jinxx.." Ashley sighs heavily before looking at him, they make eye contact for a few seconds before it starts to get a little awkward and they both look away to the side, both in different and opposite directions. "Uh, so... who's the next one?" Jinxx speaks up, breaking the current and very awkward silence the two were in. Ashley thinks for a moment as he is brought back to reality and realises that they still had both their jobs to do.

"Kellin Quinn I believe. It isn't too far away from us now, at the nearby hospital." Replies Ashley, getting ready to leave and acting as if the awkward moment the two friends just shared never happened. Jinxx was partcially amused he acted in that way but quickly shrugs it off himself, not noticing Ashley who had been paying attention to something else in the area around them. Jinxx glances over at the place which his friend had been so intently focusing on and is puzzled by what he sees. A group of humans in their late teens playing in the snow together and throwing compact balls of snow at one another.

Ashley seemed to be watch a particular human in the group of freinds, the quiet one sat down in the snow surrounded by the bags of the other four humans who Ashley assumed let him take care of their belongings. The other four humans seemed to be trying to ignore and not focus on the fact their was a crashed car on the road. Like the death of the woman hadn't taken place quite close to them, but that one boy who sat alone was different they were ignoring him. Yet he was crying.

"Hey, Purdy are you coming?" Jinxx asks, calling him out and trying to get to the next human on the list. To this call of his name, as if he heard it before it even happened, Ashley's head snaps round at his friend as he reassures him and starts to walk and approach him, lazily dragging his feet across the snow to catch up with him. "Yeah.. Yeah im coming." He replies, taking one more last look at the crying human once more before turning himself around and following after Jinxx, heading to the next victim on their death list.
