Chapter 2

"Samuel all squads are ready to go we can attack at any point." A Mysterious Figure says.

"Thank you Lieutenant, is everyone participating?" Samuel replies sipping his drink.

"Yes, Sir they are all gathered awaiting orders." The Lieutenant Replies.

"Kill them all." Samuel replies as he leaves the room.

"I thought we have lost so much killed so many why did it come to this. When this war started we had a simple goal stop those who chose to harm others, but somehow we became the very thing we hate. All because of one ritual." Samuel thought to himself.

"ALEX, ALEX GET UP WE HAVE TO MOVE" Adrian Shouted!

I got up, wait they aren't dead but we are surrounded I felt a fire a resolve id never felt before.

"ACTIVATE COMABT MODE" we all shouted in unison.

Adrian leaped forward and stabbed a demon right through the chest

"Light Protect us and give us your strength" Adrian Says sword and shield at the ready.

Adrian's eyes glowed with a gold light put a bubble around him. He jumped up and cut the demon to his right in half arrows pelting his shield. Lina loaded three arrows into her bow.

"Huntress guide my arrows true" Lina says as she takes aim.

Her arrows flew striking three demons in front of her. Then I saw fire raining from the sky and looked at James engulfed in flames his eye red as the fire.

"Behind you Alex!" James shouts!

I looked behind me a demon his sword drawn about to strike.

"Night mother forgive me." Hope whispers.

Hope stabbed her dagger into him, he fell right before me. As she stood up a arrow struck her chest. A demon sliced Adrian as he fell the demon then stabbed Lina. A fireball struck a building and a beam crushed James, as Brian ran towards me an arrow pierced through his chest. I fell to my knees

"No, No this cant be Happening NOOOOOOOOO!" I Shouted!

I stood up one eye Black one eye Gold

"Lord of Light Rain your Cleansing light, Lord of Darkness banish these unholy creatures." I Chant.

A holy light surrounded my team their wounds healed. From the ground dark hands grabbed demons and drug them down.

"Thanks for that, now lets give them a real fight." Adrian said charging forward.

Bashing his shield into them we fought with a new found courage we fought our way to the town hall slaying countless demons. Brian broke the door down with a fist of rage as Hope scouted ahead Adrian and Lina held their ground in the main entrance James providing a fire shield to protect form magic and archers. Looking around the place was oddly empty I took this time to really see the demons we killed they wore black armor their skin pale and gray eyes black as any darkness id ever seen. They almost looked human they used swords shields and staffs same as us, theirs more crude and weakly made. I had AI scan the demons for anything we could use.

"Guys, the place is empty there is a basement though." Hope reports.

We had been sent right into a trap, but why? I looked around the ceiling was a skylight above us was a viewing deck for people to attend the meetings I can see bodies everywhere. It was then we heard a crash. What came through the ceiling was human in appearance but huge at least twelve feet tall, carrying a huge spear and shield he used fiery wings to knock us all down. He opened his arms reveling jet black armor scuffed and broken from battle his helm covering his face with eyes red as he landed the ground shook.
