The Upside Down

Y/n POV
"Y/n,.. y/n! Wake up!" I slowly awake to the worried sounds of jack's voice. I opened my eyes, darkness, I only saw jack in front of me. He looked terrified. It's quiet here, all that can be heard is slight ringing and soft whispers. "Y/n, where the fuck are we?!!" I returned to my human form and stood up and looked around... "I know this place" I said quietly to myself. "What? Where?!" I looked to him with slight concern in my eyes.. "this is the upside down" "the what??" Jack looked at me like I've lost my mind. "The upside down, this is where dark came from, I guess he brought us here while we were sleeping" "I-.. is there any way out?". I look down for a moment, thinking. "The only entities powerful enough to get us out of here are Dark and/or Anti. But neither are here" I say looking back to Jack. "How do you know?" "Because I'm a dark entity myself, I can sense  when they're near". Jack looked at me with slight surprise. "You can't get us out of here?". I'm not actually sure, I've been in and out of here before, but that was with Dark's assistance, I've never tried myself. "I really don't think I'm powerful enough" I say truthfully. Jack looked around as if searching for an answer. He's scared, I can sense it. I walk over and rub his back as an attempt to comfort him, he jumped a bit at first touch but then relaxed. "We'll get out of here, don't you worry" I reassured. "How?". I thought for a moment, then I remembered "maybe I can try to contact Anti, but it might be harder to reach him from the upside down. But I can give it a try". I saw a glimmer of hope in jack's eyes. I closed my eyes and concentrated. Trying to find him through the dark void of my mind. Soon enough, I think I might've found him, not really found, not seen, not heard either, but I can feel him. I can feel what he feels. He's angry, he's scared, he's in pain, not just emotional pain, but I feel it's physical pain as well. "What is it?" I didn't realize the face I was making that made jack concerned. "I think he's with Dark, I'm afraid he might be in trouble". I could here jack curse under his breath as I sense him begin to panic. "Y/n, you have to try to get us out of here before something really bad happens!" Jack said in a panicked tone. "But what if I mess up? What if I take us to some other place? I'll just make things worse". "But Anti needs us! I know he's a tough guy but you should know more than anyone what Dark's capable of". I stood quiet for a moment, my back turned to Jack. "Okay... I'll give it a try" I take a moment before I walk over to Jack and take his hand in mine.

Jack's POV
She took my hand and closed her eyes with a look of concentration and concern on her face. I could feel her fearful energy in my hand. All that can be heard is her unsteady breaths and the unsettling sounds of the upside down. Soon her hand became a paw and she fell to the ground as a wolf. There were small lights that flickered around us, only for a brief moment. I kneeled down in front of her checking to see if she's okay. "Whoa whoa whoa, y/n, are you okay?" She whimpered as her breathing slowed and became more steady. "It's okay, rest for now. We can try later, I know you have it in you, I just know it" I really do believe she can. She's been through a lot these past couple of days, I don't blame her for just collapsing like that. I sat down beside y/n, taking a rest while also keeping a look out for anyone or anything that might show up in this foreign hell of a world.
