Okay Naiad, go inside lock the door and call Adrian, but don't tell him about letter, at least not yet.

I do as I planned before in my mind. For me to calm down is the only way to start planning and I calm down.

I quickly go in, lock the door. I just hope he answers.

Adrian? I ask carefully through our mindlink.

I am in a meeting Naiad. He cuts me. I hate it when he thinks he is protecting me with keeping a distance but guarding me with others. Others don't understand me.

Yeah? Well I got something to tell you. Now is my turn to cut him off.

I love him, I really do but he must be see this distance between us is not good for us, or our baby.

I hear front door close and wait for Adrian to come up.

"Nia?" Ah we are back to nickname.

"Hi."

"Is everything alright?"

It's now or never.

"I hope so." I smile to him. "Well I hope you are ready to have a baby." I softly say to him.

His eyes light up with happiness, love and excitement. "You are pregnant?" He beams.

"Yes." He kisses me, picks me up and spins me around.

"Now you need ten guards." He says.

"Adrian, Dimitri is more then enough and I wish to have one female fighter, not James. I don't feel comfortable with him." I frown a bit.

"Okay baby. Whatever you want you will get. Naiad I am sorry about my attitude yesterday, you did nothing to have me talking like that to you. I was really scared and angry. And I haven't sleep all night. Aiden has been mad at me all day and night. Also he wants to take control because he is so happy about our pup but I can't let him, we don't want to know what would happen."

"It's alright Adrian. I know and I love you."

"I love you too." He wraps his arms around me offering me his comfort.

"What did doctor say?" Adrian breaks the silence.

"That I should be careful and to come to a check up every other week. Since they don't exactly know how it will go because I am nymph and you are Alpha."

"Okay. We will be careful." He kisses my temple.

"Do you still have a meeting?" I inquire.

"Shit! yes! I have to go but you are coming with me. I will then tell Dimitri and Kennedy to look after you when we are done and I don't need Dimitri anymore."

"Kennedy is the best female fighter?" He nods, picks me up bridal style and start walking towards his office.

Few minutes later we arrive into his office which is filled with four more man.

One being Dimitri, the other Mason which is shocking because where is Ava, and the other two I don't know.

"I apologize but the matter was urgent. We can now continue with the meeting." He sits down with me still in his lap. He didn't even introduce me to other two, he just started the meeting. I try to lift myself but his grip tightens.

"Adrian. There are others in here, you know I don't like PDA." I whisper to him so hopefully others won't hear. Although snickers from Mason tell me he did.

Adrian releases me and I sit on a couch that is near him.

I am sorry, me and Aiden will be even more protective now that you are pregnant.

He then continues with a meeting. And let me tell you it was boring. Some stuff about market value on some stockings Adrian has and some other business information. The meeting drags and I think it went on for a day, but looking at the clock on the wall behind Mason tells me that only fourty minutes passed.

Finally I see them shaking their hands and both of unknown man don't even glance my way to be polite and say goodbye. Not that I need their goodbye but that is just rude.

"Baby I imagine this was boring for you but those two were an Alpha and Beta of Risemoon pack, and they run their pack differently. Alpha sees women as something less and I didn't think they even deserve to know or talk to you. Both of you." Warm feeling bolts through my heart when I hear the words he said.

But he forgot that Mason and Dimitri are still there.

"Is Luna with pup Alpha?" Dimitri ask with respect. I also can't get used to others calling my baby, pup.

"Yes she is Dimitri so she needs really good protection right now. I trust you and Kennedy to be able to do that." Adrian says serious.

"Kennedy? Do I tell James he has been given other job?"

"Yes. Nia doesn't feel comfortable with him and she wanted a female warrior."

"Okay Alpha I will inform both of them immediately."

"Can I go with you? You still own me an ice cream with your mate." I say, joining the conversation.

"Of course Luna."

I turn to Adrian and quickly peck his lips, so quickly I almost got a whiplash. "See you at home."

"Yes. Be careful. I love you both."

Me and Dimitri then go and that was just what I was waiting for.

"Dimitri I have to show you something but as your Luna I ask you not to tell Adrian." I hand him the letter and he reads it.

"With all due respect Luna I think we should tell him." He says.

"I am sorry but no. I can't let anything happen to anybody from a pack. So I order you as your Luna to not tell Alpha. You, me and Kennedy will try to see who is helping him, and how Adrian's cousin is involved in this. Also I really crave ice cream now so will you please tell your mate and Kennedy to meet us there? Also please mindlink Ava and Lucy I will stop at their house later if they are okay with it. And also thank you Dimitri for keeping me safe."
