Gamer-Girl's POV

It all started with a game.A game that changed my life,my dreams,my attitude.Everything.summer was finally over.It was the first day of school after the long summer break.I lay in bed reminiscing about the party last night at Australia's famous club, The Wolf Cave.

      "Malika!Breakfast is ready,you're gonna be late for school!" my best friend,Nazurah,called for me.

       "Alright,alright!i'm up!!" I groaned and got out of bed.Well,tried to.I couldn't keep my body up for a minute and fell back on to my bed,moaning in pain.The drink at the party last night was definitely spiked.

     i'm gonna kill him!I thought to myself.

  Yes,It was my other best friend,Levi's birthday yesterday.That was why I let my Two idiotic friends choose the location,but they knew that I hate clubs and chose to go there purposefully.I had no choice but to go along with them.And now I was facing the consequences.

   Having a hangover is the first time for me.Well I might be a notorious girl in school,but I still have my  cruel stepmother to deal with.My parents died in a car crash last summer.It became a very big problem in my life.But I decided I had a life to live.It's not like my parents cared about me anyway.They would be on one side of the world,going on constant vacations or business meetings while I would be on  the other,studying my head off.Eventually,I got tired of the stupid books and decided to change my lifestyle.So I did.I changed.I changed everything, from the way I dressed to the way I talked and walked. 

    "oh my fu.." I couldn't finish my sentence as I ran into the bathroom and emptied all the contents from my stomach through my mouth.

     "ewwww!!that's disgusting!" I turned around to see my stupid bestie standing at the entrance of the bathroom,covering her mouth.

   "All thanks to my two best friends who decided to spike my drink accidentally," I shot back.

     "w-w-what are you talking about...i don't know..Malika I didn't.." she started blabbering.

        I couldn't help but laugh at  that."shut up Naz.I might throw up again if you make me laugh too much." I said while leaving the bathroom and jumping into bed again.

             "what?You not coming to school?" she questioned me.

    "Nope. I ain't feeling too well--" I started but she cut me off mid -sentence.

   "Okay.Okay.whatever you say.But don't come crying to ask me for tutoring if you miss something important."

    I snorted at this."Like I could care less." I stated before covering my face with the covers to block out all sources of light.

    A few minutes into my sleep,i heard the faint noise of my phone ringing.I thought it would stop.But it repeated again and again until I got frustrated that I sat up and snatched my phone from my bedside table.There were 3 missed calls and 5 texts from my cousin,Nathan.

From Nate:

        Eh! I found this Awesom-azing online game!You've got to check it out!! -N

From Nate: 

Come on!Get ur butt outta ur bed n search for the game girl! -N

From Nate:

 Uggh!!!Try it out n just call me when u do.You'd better try it out.I swear u'll love it. XD-N

    Nate never over-exaggerates something unless he is totally obsessed with it.What could it be? I thought to myself.

   It's a game,dumb ass.My inner thoughts told me.

ouch.

after a few minutes of thinking, i decided to just text him.

To Nate:

seems like an interesting game.But you just asked me to search for it without giving me the name of the game, Mr.smarty pants.-M

ps: If this game isn't worth my time, imma kill yeh. >:)

I sent the message and fell back into bed and before I knew it,I was already asleep.
